I'm enjoying the fact that you have another da integra, more so that your wire tucking it, because that's where I got stuck in my car, and these videos help, thanks mark
Removing the dashboard will facilitate literally everything you are trying to do. Pedals, clutch cable, abs wiring delete, etc. Will all be a hell of a lot easier to access and work on.
brother.. clean clean clean, I' care. lol, if someone is in to hondas, we know.. we know, how tedious it is, but satisfying at the same time, to see the changes in the car, little buy little, there is no other way, lol I appreciate it, by the way, fist time i got the guts to pull a d16 out of honda the first time, was because of your videos/channel, so thank you.! mechanic shops, are too much expensive, anyways, keep living the dream man, .!
It's so easy to "tuck" the power steering in a way. Make it only able to leak in 4 places. Tie rod ends. And hose hookups. Delete the metal line with multiple hoses for return. Just one from the rack to the reservoir. And the high pressure and call it a day and still have assist. You can always toss it back on there. If it's leaking from the ends of the rack a loop kit will just keep leaking as it's used. Looking very nice though. Just my two cents on keeping power steering. Used to always just pop off the belt myself. Now I just fix the leaks and enjoy the ease of use.
And I get the respect of people saying oh man you still have power steering. As if they act like it's AC or something intimidating that needs understanding of how it works. It's just a sealed hydraulic system. Most Hondas can have their leaks fixed by just swapping out all of the clamps to a worm clamp vs the crap ones used to be able to tighten them down over the years at the dealer.
Agreed. You can still get reman racks and everything else is replaceable. Im eventually going to have my rack subframe powder coated, new rack and all rubber replaced, next time I take the motor out.
With a battery that small would you have trouble running sound system and things like that? I looked up on Amazon and people are ranting this is a small engine battery. Not a passenger car one
@@HondaStreetGarage interesting. I'll have to look further into this. My last battery in my 2000 GS-R finally crapped out. I really don't drive it much at all. Especially in winter. So I'm thinking gel cell might be a better option. However it seems there are 2 very passionate schools of thought. One being a regular battery works fine and agms are too expensive and don't last. Others swearing by agms. I just want something that won't be dead when I turn the key...
It’s a 92 integra those things weren’t the best ABS design it was actually first Gen ABS.. loads of problems.. a lot of other cars of that year didn’t have it.. weight reduction up front is also a plus.. that accumulator and pump would leak eventually.. no good.. I’m happy he got rid of it..
@@streetfighters805 ok nice that makes a lot of sense. I also see people doing it to the 98-01 Integra that had a better system. I just wonder if it’s better braking without abs
@@albono780 I doubt he will daily this car.. and I doubt he’d be driving like a maniac on the street or tailgating, or inclement weather where ABS would be a total help.. 40/40 prop valve is great for his full disk brake system.. and He will have great stopping power!

Fact: I worked over 18 Years by Honda and I watch and enjoy your videos. You have a great experience and Knowledge.

Excited for this build , lots of work but brings more for the journey 👏🏾
There’s no going back but the glory will be unforgettable!! Keep building!
Keep at it man! The journey is way better than the destination! Thanks for sharing.

The man is BACK!!!!🤘 Have you started a guitar RUclips channel?? I know you were on about it a few years back.
Man let me tell you something, you have inspired me to keep my DA and just use my Jeep and Mini Cooper S as dailies
Looking Good 👍. Power steering is only really needed in parking lots.
Didn't get to finish watching. Catching up now!
gracias por el contenido, saludos!
Feliz 2022!
Im 42 I have no patience to work on cars anymore lol I barely feel like washing them !
Most of my friends are the same way. By their 30's they stopped wanting to work on cars with me.
I'm 44 and still love working on cars
Great video!
Did Dana make you vlog this?
Your in for a long build there 👦…………..but in the end is alll worth it 😎.
I love to see it. I’m working on a wire tuck on my del Sol right now. Tedious wrk but worth it in the end. Love the content !
Let's go was waiting for this
Are you not afraid of blowing the rack seals using a loop kit?
Soo cleannnnnnn
What's the part number proportioning valve that you used
That poor DA9 😢 I would of definitely kept the power steering out of everything that leak would of been a easy fix
