This projector gets the job done pretty well. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.
How would you hold up for photo projection image on horizontal surfaces to get image on cookie so you could decorate the image?
Hope you understand my question as I looked at your link and the projector looks like a box you would have to suspend on its side to view image on a horizontal surface .

Yes I am using food gel coloring mixed with water or vodka.
I hope it's not to late to ask a question, but I am wondering if there is a way to trace on a cookie using the Pico without my hand blocking the image? I tilt my bag, which makes it difficult to use. But I have been told by other people to tilt the Pico??? Won't that distort the pic? I am just trying to figure it out, it is driving me crazy.
Hi Fatima, in my opinion, you can’t completely avoid the overlapping of your hand or piping tip and the shadow at some points while you’re tracing the image; there a few seconds where my piping tip’s shadow is right over the line I’m trying to trace. I find that following the flow that my piping/my hand is already going and guiding it towards the part of the image that you can see, helps me bridge that gap. Also try compensating by changing the angle of your hand. There might be a few seconds of ‘blockage’ but it’s doable in terms of judging where to pipe because your hand is already ‘on the way’, if you know what I mean.
Basically, keep your eye on the line you can see and trust your hand to follow the direction it’s already going. Hope that helps!

I have my Pico plugged into my Macbook (using the HDMI cable) but it's not displaying. Do you know how to get the image from my Macbook onto the pico? I would think it's like the iPad?

If I understand your question correctly, you are asking if a wifi connection is needed to use the pico projector? If so, the answer is no.
