I am 52 years old and have ridden motorcycles most of my life. I never thought I would EVER ride a scooter..... These Burgmans changed my mind. Wow! Power, Comfort, and nice looks.

Could not agree with you more! Had mine for nearly 4 years now and still very impressed with her, I commute in the week and ripping about at the weekend. Thanks Suzuki, now make me a bigger one by another 100cc 👍

What is the newest Burgman 650 that is in the United States I know the dealership in my area only Had a 2018 I would like to have a up today brand new one please comment back if any dealerships around has new scooters thank you

I have a 2009 version of this machine. I assume all the features available then are still available; the electric fold in mirrors, the electric adjustable screen and the strong powerful motor. There is plenty of on-board storage add a top box if you need more. The twin discs up front and the one on the rear plus ABS make stopping easy. The park brake is handy too. I like the CVT it is quick and responsive. This is a good bike for both the city/daily commute and touring the open road as well as the twisties on the back roads. It hold its own with big cruisers, tourers and sports bikes. It seems little has changed with the bike - I suppose "if it ain't broke don't fix it applies here. One thing that could have been added would be cruise control. That would make a huge difference to a day's touring. I can't let this comment go without making mention of the music. It is wrong for this video. There is a time and place for Xmas carols. It is NOT on motorcycle videos.

I am an old mostly Harley rider.....been riding more than 50 years. I bought a 2015 Burgman 650 in 2017 as a second bike. I was totally surprised at the power and handling in the twisties then on the interstate 80 was nothing.......it still had plenty left. Loved the bike but sold it because of no heated grips/seat and wasn't wild about the color. Just bought a new 2018 Burgman 650 loaded with everything available including heated grips and seat. I'm used to riding with my music on external speakers so I have to figure out a way to mount speakers in the 2 storage holes just above the glove box. I wish it had cruise...I'm going to try a throttle lock first but may eventually attempt to install a real cruise control system. If anyone has any suggestions on speakers/music or cruise control I would appreciate it your thoughts. Eventhough this bike weighs just over 600 lbs it doesn't feel like it due to the low center of gravity. It is the most nimble and fun bike that I have ever ridden. If you ride one be ready to be amazed!
I wish the Burgman 650 would put in a FM stereo navigation system
They say they are not making the 2019 birdman's I keep going to my Suzuki dealers in my area and may cannot get Them so how am I to get one

How come your show won the 2019 burgman scooters and there's none in the States yet I live in Connecticut I am waiting for want to come in the Suzuki dealers in my area say that they Arla making them anymore for 2018 I would like to purchase one

Did Suzuki finally equipped this scooter with cruise control ? It is the most important equipment for long distance riding.
No they don’t have one. I tried to put on a aftermarket but they are less than desirable . Your absolutely right I can’t understand how they can be so stupid as to not add cruise.

Everything I’m aware of on motorbikes is just a throttle lock except for custom apps and a smattering of very expensive, aftermarket units.
But then again, I’m still riding my 2003 Burgman. 🙄
@@tharais technology exists for a while now but in motorcycles it's still not very common as standard, although a lot of people appreciate it on longer trips...
