I'm going to be so sad when Vlogmas is over. As a grown ass woman who can't seem to make friends, getting my daily dose of Sarah makes life a little less lonely.

As someone who worked with pets in a shelter for over 10 years, I wouldnt recommend most cats/dogs be boarded unless they are extremely confident. It can definitely be traumatizing for them.
That being said, it’s better to have someone come to your home and provide food/water/cuddles

I’ve used Rover before so they come to your house and they photograph the kitties and play with and feed them, etc. it’s really nice.
i think when it comes to cats having someone come check on them at home is definitely the way to go. i couldnt imagine taking my cats anywhere they would be terrified. but we went on vacation for a week and had someone check on them at home and they we're perfect!

We have someone come to our home and it’s great! We have cameras so we can see everything but she’s wonderful with our two dogs and sends us pictures etc. find someone you love and trust
Yeah that sounds awesome. I'm hoping to hire someone's teenage or young 20 something year old kid, like a nephew or cousin or something. I think they'd have a blast chillin in the house with Crash and Coco haha

Haha they’re seriously easier than you think. Roll them out in powdered sugar on the counter and work with cold dough. You got it 💪🏼

Im a kennel and cattery owner. I swear not all are the same. I love all pets as my own. We try and shower them with so much love and attention cause it cannot be easy being away from home.

3:20 can’t you get automatic feeders and water to last for days? Also there’s pet sitters that come to feed and play and clean litter. My husband and I have had that same problem with our dog, we never went anywhere that we couldn’t drive to so we can bring the dog. But that’s changed a friend recommended a pet sitter and we left him with her for 4 days. She was amazing but definitely need to make sure they’re good with animals.

I always got a pet sitter (there are apps) to come take care of my cat while I traveled, she did great with the sitters ❤ (well, she hated everyone who wasn’t me equally 😂)
Automatic cat feeder and some water and the kitties are good to go for at least 3 days. I leave mine with a crap ton of food and water and theres still some left when I come back 😊 (i dont care for those damn automatic feeders but other people do)
Hey not sure if you knew but you can make three different things out of the ginger man cookie cutter a ginger man, snowman and a reindeer . if you put the cookie upside down his feet are the reindeers antlers his arms are his ears and his head is where you put the nose and face it's cute i seen it online years ago and just did some the other day., I love the cats and all the others you dont give yourself enough credit they are cute...Merry Christmas to you, the kids and family!

Sarah you should consider an automatic feeder and litter robot. That way it's minimum human intervention. It's not going to be more than a week but some vacation is better than no vacation.
We have/had both. The litter robot was a nightmare. I actually liked the auto feeder but the cats would literally attack it bc they knew it was full of food so it caused issues with them knocking it over etc. couple of menaces haha

Your brother lives across the street you can't bribe him or his kids to watch your cats while you're out of town like their cats they just need fed and watered and their litter changed
They’ve helped before when we absolutely had to leave together but I hate to put people out and ask them to help like that. They have their own lives, kids, and pets to concern themselves with.
@@sarahhhrae I'm just saying as a kid we were paid to watch The neighbors pets and it was really good for us and of course our parents had to go check afterwards but you know it was just understood that that's what you do as an adult I still go watch my neighbor's pets when they leave town I go and feed and water and make sure everything's good and I don't ever feel put out by that

@sarahhhrae I agree with sarahs take to be honest I would feel like it's not up to my brother to pet sit just because we live so close , even if paid i would feel like its kind of taking advantage of them being close by. I have two large dogs that don't travel well and don't have kennel services/wouldn't use for the same reason sarah said you don't know what happens there

Hi Sarah… I just wanna give Nala a curly girly compliment 😊… I know she’s having issues liking her hair buuut as a curly girly myself I just want her to know that her hair is soooooo beautiful, she looks gorgeous 🥰 Curls have a personality of their own and some days they just don’t wanna work with us, so I know the struggle, hence is normal that she is struggling to have peace with her hair… Now please let her know that no matter what she is perfect and sooo sooo beautiful no matter what 😊
