    “Laughter through tears is my favorite emotion”..as a 12 year bc survivor, having had two lumpectomies and 10 weeks of radiation I can relate…I’m proud of you, for being honest, humorous, skeptical, while going through something that is truly life-changing..your bravery is admirable, you’ve fought the good fight, like a girl🎀💖

    As someone who has had a chronic health issue for a couple of decades, I can concur with your idea that full, thoughtful, detailed information from doctors is such a caring thing for them to do. Nothing like crying at 9:15am while catching up on work! You have such a an amazing way with words, projecting your thoughts and feelings on such a relatable level, and showing how much growth you’ve had in your RUclips career. So many tearful moments, telling your little brother first cause he’s your person, your moms support just instantly making you and all of us tear up, “i don’t know, and that’s okay.” So much good content. Thanks again for being so vulnerable and open. The message you put out there is truly profound. I'm glad that you chose to share as much as you have over this whole period, especially since you have developed a understandably more critical perspective on the internet.

    The strange thing about telling the Internet about these kinds of difficulties is that there is a higher level of parasocial relationships between us as viewers and you as the creator. But there is also the fact that things like cancer or other hard things are highly likely to be relatable to your audience so we can respond and share that connection. It’s still parasocial but it’s not as scary.

I was born in the first year of Gen Z but find a good bit in common with Millennials too, hence the term Zillenial. My fellow ‘97 babies and I grew up alongside evolving tech. Both times I've woken up from anesthesia, I immediately warned everyone that I was still awake, panicked that they would start scoping me while I was awake.

    Once I went under for an endoscopy/surgery to remove a stomach mass. I woke up during the procedure. They realized this pretty quick and worked to put me back under. I just remember the doctor and nurses rushing around, me lying on my side, then I let out a very loud fart. I chuckled at this and then was out again. I don't know, that experience just helps me enjoy being under anesthesia more for procedures, like my body was showing me, "Hey yeah, you're going to embarrass yourself and do weird things you have no control over and that's ok. Might as well enjoy the nap."

    When I was coming out of surgery my surgical nurses said to my husband that I was one of the funniest patients they've ever had. I've never found out what I said, so I for sure feel that social uncertainty 😅 like, "what did I say?!" I'll never know.

    Good luck to you as you get your pathology report back this week. I had a bunch of calcium deposits on my first mammogram which alerted us to the cancer spot but the actual calcium deposit area was all benign. I hope that is the case for you too.

    My fav older my damn channel video is a particular sexy Friday one where a question was asked about how to play hard to get from a guy that lives an hour away and you said “I kinda think you’re already doing that, but I guess here is what you do: drive over to his house, shit on his front lawn, and then spray it with your signature scent. He’ll get it.”
    My dad, whom is no longer of this earth, was looking over my shoulder and casually drinking a beer. The moment you said that, he laughed so hard beer shot out of his nose!

    OK, so now I need to learn more about this depth psychology business. The first night after I moved out after my divorce, a jackal somehow - VERY unusually - came into the street right below my window and was howling. Several years later, I think on the 6th or 7th anniversary of my dad's death, I also heard a jackal really close, right outside my window. I felt it was a sign but couldn't figure out what it was a sign of. I'm still not sure. I need to find out how to learn more about this type of phenomemon and explore how to... well, how to think and feel about it...

      Look up Jackal symbolism and see what you find!!

    • @Judymontel
      @Judymontel 9 месяцев назад

      @@itsgrace I can do it again. At the time I got a lot of how the jackal is a jokester and it definitely made me feel uneasy - as if the universe was making fun of me.
      But then - maybe it is!!

You don’t deserve it and it’s really shitty you have to go through any of this. I’m so hoping that coyote was some awesome symbolism. You are amazing and deserve the absolute best. I am sending you all of my love and best wishes. I hope you had an amazing Christmas and I know 2024 is going to be your year! Hopefully 2024 is both our years. I need a win too.

    Oh, don't worry, at least you don't remember if you said anything in recovery. I remember waking up in recovery after gallbladder surgery and instantly hitting on the nurse who was looking after me. He was attractive, and I told him as much 😂 I cringe but also drugged up me has a lot more confidence than normal me 😂
    I'm so glad you're doing well Smellbig. This has been crazy for us as viewers to see, so I can't imagine how crazy it has been for you and Elliot. Sending love and healing vibes to you both ❤
