The "science of truth" explained by Francis is so wonderfully simple and overwhelmingly true that it makes me realize that if I keep sleeping it is because I am very lazy 😂😂. Thank you MASTER 🙏

Behind every action there is an assumption, behind that assumption is another assumption. Once you can tell this can you then do things by reacting or not.

when you are in understanding and see your thoughts and feelings pass by and then from the point of understanding you see those residues of separation. then you analyze that. is this analyzing is necessary or you just drop the though because there is no one to analyze?> is this clear? :)

When fear arises for me, if I am not totally caught up in it, I will sometimes do what Francis talks about here at 3:13. I "re-notice" that I, consciousness, am universal, have no center, etc. And yes, the fear collapses (although it can reassert itself very quickly if the fear is acute). However, I've sometimes wondered if I'm doing a "spiritual bypass" with this. Doesn't Rupert talk about "giving yourself completely to the feeling"? I like that instruction in that it seems less potentially "bypassy", but the truth is that it comes much less naturally to me than Francis' instruction here. I mean, I'm great at giving myself completely to a feeling in the sense that I routinely sob and wail and go into my car to yell and scream when that is what wants to happen, but for me, that's just emotional release, and different, I'm imagining, than what Rupert is suggesting?? Perhaps Rupert's suggestion is more of a method of investigation? Whereas Francis' suggestion here is for someone who is done investigating, who needs no more convincing, but just "forgets"? I look forward to re-watching some Rupert videos on this topic to see if they are any clearer to me now, but in the meantime, I welcome any reflections/feedback.

Fear arises, you turn your attention to it, completely and unconditionally, and as this fear is finally attended for what it truly is, it dissolves on its own, because it depends on the illusions of the body-mind (concepts of time and space) to stand. At the ultimate mental level (Nisargadatta's "I AM" state, the Real-Self, sat-chit-ananda), there will always be some effort.
That state will eventually flow naturally into the next (you might call it Awareness, Nisargadatta's Absolute or Parabhraman), but in reality this last "state" cannot be named or even conceived by the mind or conceptualized by language, hence it is referred by Siddharameshwar as the "stateless state". There is no trying there. There is no effort.
All that should be in one's mind is the "I AM". It's as far as one can intentionally go. The "I AM" is the event horizon of all the pointers before they get swallowed by the black hole.

Thanks for your response, Marcelo. Your suggestion to "turn your attention completely and unconditionally to the fear" reminded me of how, sometimes as I'm laying in bed with my eyes closed before sleep, I give my full attention to the simple sensation of my skin against the sheets. This means that I add NOTHING ELSE--in particular, I add no image/presumption of a body to the experience. (In reality, it feels more like a "dropping" of the image of the body than a "not adding" it, so evidently, holding this image is deeply habitual/automatic.) Anyway, in these (timeless) moments, the only thing that exists is the knowing-being of that simple sensation. So yeah, I was imagining that this same thing--i.e. being in the dark and without any visual stimulation--might also help me get a better sense for what it means to, as you and Rupert suggest, turn my attention completely and unconditionally to the feeling. Looking forward to trying it.

15 years ago after a protracted serious illness there arose the great fear, (the fear of annihilation itself), there was nothing i could do with it at sll. in the end just offering no resistance or grasping led me to completely identify with consciousness, all fear of death disappeared at that momen and there was no separation at all. i have not had that fear since. if it returns maybe ill try Francis's method haha

jj la medica there was a funny incident about 18 years ago that relates to this. i was there with a friend and their 4 year old son and for some reason the kid kept calling me bypass haha i don't know where he got it from, were his parents taking i don't know. Anyway, out of the mouths of babes haha
At that time i was very advaita, having many insights and experiences that convinced me.of the truth of it. So id use that knowing i guess.

That's hilarious :D // And that's interesting about prolonged serious illness being a catalyst, cause yeah, it was for me too.

    I need help w something;
I am absolutely certain that I am not a body or a mind.
I know that there is no quality and, therefore no qualitative difference between this open space of awareness that I essentially am. It is known that I am not a thing and, in fact, I know that I’m not even an “I”.
I’m fairly convinced that this teaching is correct as it has blown my mind time and time again and it never fails to turn out to be true over and over.
    But I’m stuck.
I do feel that there is evidence that “this awareness” is separate from that awareness.
I can’t have your perspective or have access to another mind.
    So I feel separate.
I feel like awareness and no “self” and surely not a body or identical to a mind.
But I still feel like we are separated by space and “time”.. I even see that “time” is not as I once thought it was.
I see all these things, but I still feel that we are separated by.. idk what to call it, I feel separated and “cut off” from the other open spaces of awareness because I have access to one mind and not others. I guess I feel like there are separate perspectives and that separation of perspective is the evidence I see for us not being “one”.
This space of awareness “here” seems separated by “space” and “time”.
    We have different perspectives.
Can anyone help me to take the next step?
    What is being missed?
Please help if you can, it feels so close.
    Can anyone enlighten me😉
    Pun intended.
I am serious and sincere and I hope someone can point me in the right direction.
    Namaste homies 🖖
    Donovan

Why is it so difficult for some women to tune in. They are born naturally with compassion and love of a mother earth. Just take the love mother spaghetti and expand it infinitely. Love will conquer all even fear.

Advaita process is essentially a reductionist procedure that reduces sense of self to consciousness - which is unlocatable, and so unlimited ergo Universal. However there is a self evident entity which is a physical, emotional and intellectual being, and that is also feminine. We all have a Mother and denial of our individuality is to cut away our Humanity. Its not either or.... its both. Yes essentially we have a body and mind and gender but we are the Spirit. The Axis is the centrality but the changing wheel is also true.
