With that you can hit the damage cap very easily or deal 300 damage with an Infinijump. But I never tried no Kersti cause it sounds very tedious so Megaflash stickers probably take too much space for that part
You got it exactly right. The space required to do this challenge for the final phase meant I couldn't use Megaflash stickers and yeah it was pretty tedious. The way you beat the first phase sounds like a lot of fun.
This is insanely impressive to me, Im bad at blocking so it would probably be about impossible for me! Then again Color Splash's final boss required paying attention to block the attacks correctly and I beat it, so maybe the biggest issue would be my patience, lol.
Thanks! Blocking in this fight is important for the fire breath attack since it burns 3 stickers on the page of the album that you're currently on. That attack scared me every time it was used

Instead of buying flashy mushrooms from the shop, here is a trick to get them: First you buy poison mushrooms at W1-5 Whammino Mountain, Then you go to W5-1 Shy Guy Jungle and then if you paperize poison mushrooms you get flashy mushrooms sometimes.
I have a fairer and way more fun idea for finale bowser you get to use Kersti but you need to end the battle with an empty album. So you need to up all stickers.
Could be fun. I'd probably go into the fight with specific "things" that deal a lot of damage and try to finish the fight quickly. Another strategy could be letting bowser burn some stickers on purpose which would be cool.
I thought you were doing this without stickers in general and I was like “how?” this entire time I thought Kertsi(however you spell it) was required Edit: I wonder what peach thinks
lol maybe I'll beat the game without stickers some other time. @@BarelyAlec a no sticker run would be interesting, although if there’s some way to do damage without stickers it’s crossed my mind. I don’t understand why this game gets so much flack, I found it fun
@@theultimateinksack5825 I think the closest to a no sticker run would be entering a battle without stickers and hoping to get lucky drops. I'm not sure if that's actually possible though. As a stand-alone experience, I enjoyed it when I played the game the first time and I enjoyed it the second time when I made this video.
@@BarelyAlec I enjoyed it a lot when I was little even though I now prefer Color Splash much more over it. Sticker Star is still a pretty fun 3D platformer and the hate it gets makes you think people were attempting the lost levels instead. Without savestates.
There is a problem with this: the arms can only be hit a certain amount of times before they break off. You can’t jump on the mouth unless you use iron jumps as the mouth is a spiked enemy.
What really sucks is that Bowser Jr cannot be defeated without the scissors. Big Boo cannot be defeated without the faucet. The most thing that sucks is that you need two things for the Big Cheep Cheep Battle which is the fish hook and thumbtack.
Even if you don't use Kersti as a sticker, she gets wished back to life by Mario in the cutscene after the fight so you can't toss or sell her normally. I think some people were saying you can hack the Kersti sticker into your inventory though and then do that stuff.
Actually, you can toss her without hacking. Though I wished if you did toss Kersti the normal ending cutscene plays and she would not be behind Mario in the ending.
@@BarelyAlec After Beating him with the restrictions you go to Kersti sticker and then you press a to keep or toss it. But instead of keep, select toss and she will be out of the inventory. However the normal ending cutscene plays and somehow Mario gets Kersti back to life.
I don't think you can do enough damage to kill him in the phase right before the final one. I've seen videos where once he reaches low enough health (I think 100) he just falls and goes into the final phase.
That might be an interesting fight if you ban everything fire-related. It might just be a repeat of Bowser's final form though idk. I might try that in the future since I've gotten a lot of random requests for certain bosses in this game. I'm thinking of putting a bunch of one-off requests into one video.
A personal thing here: I think Bowser in his final phase is ugly when he does the fire breath. It's the same deal with Petey Piranha when he does that flaping the "arms" to stomp Mario attack. You know what i am talking about, right?
I dare say, you are good with blocking the fire breath. If it was me, i probably would take 5 tries to block the 1st time. But i'm not sure since i only played PM64 of all these. And i use a N64 emulator to play it, so i have save states. But maybe, if i had conditions to buy Nintendo Consoles and copies of the games, i would probably skip this one, since, we all know this is the worst one of the PM games.(well at least the majority)
@@rafaelpereiragomes1735 I know what you mean about those animations being ugly. Especially the Bowser one since his face is weirdly shaped. And yeah, the fire breath blocking worked out for me here. I was surprised that I was consistently doing it myself, but happy since the final phase takes a while to get to. My personal least favorite paper mario game is super paper mario because I found it tedious a lot of the time. I still enjoyed the game though and I understand why people don't like sticker star.
@@BarelyAlec Peapoe complain about the generic Toads and enemies, and the area system is another thing to take into consideration. None of these things bother me. Generic Toads? I think the Paper Toads are cute(not forgeting about the normal ones because they are cute too), but yeah, they are worse here because they don't use different clothes, there are no Kid or Women Toads like in the older games, it's just the different colors, so i kinda understand why peapoe don't like them, but at the same time, it's hard for me. Enemies i let slide, because i like a bit of "consistency". Area for me, it's almost better, because you can fast travel easier than in the older games. But Color Splash does better because it treats like places, not levels. But the flaw that makes this game worse is the battle system. It's terrible. I can handle it better in Color Splash , and Origami King improved a bit as well, making it kinda of a PM version of PinT. Probably i like it more than PinP, but this certainly not final because i don't know all the areas and the normal enemies. The bosses i know well, but the areas and enemies i don't.
@@rafaelpereiragomes1735 I like the toads because toad bridges are funny and they show enough emotions to never be generic. The fast travel is pretty good in Sticker Star. The combat is definitely hit or miss and the game heavily implying that you need "thing stickers" is annoying.
@@BarelyAlec Oh yeah. I forgot about you needing Thing Stickers for bosses. Yeah, that can be annoying, especialy if the specific Thing is really hard to get, like the Camera with Color Splash.
I wanted to show part of why I grinded for stickers by failing to run away at the beginning. That way, if I messed up blocking the fire attack a couple times, it wouldn't ruin a 40-minute attempt.

Which boots are you talking about? Pow blocks are great in this fight because they allow clone jumps to hit Bowser for the most damage that I can do without sacrificing more album space.

Instead of buying flashy mushrooms from the shop, here is a trick to get them:
First you buy poison mushrooms at W1-5 Whammino Mountain, Then you go to W5-1 Shy Guy Jungle and then if you paperize poison mushrooms you get flashy mushrooms sometimes.
That's an efficient way to do it. I just bought my shiny mushrooms, but I paperized iron jumps if I remember correctly.

Bowser gets tortured by mario for like half an hour
Yeah at some point he'd just be thinking "we both know Mario will eventually win like always"
@@BarelyAlec every shonen anime protagonist in existence be like
I have a fairer and way more fun idea for finale bowser you get to use Kersti but you need to end the battle with an empty album. So you need to up all stickers.
Could be fun. I'd probably go into the fight with specific "things" that deal a lot of damage and try to finish the fight quickly. Another strategy could be letting bowser burn some stickers on purpose which would be cool.
Now you can go sell Kersti at the shop!
Mario wishes her back to life so you can't sell her without hacking :(
I thought you were doing this without stickers in general and I was like
“how?”
this entire time I thought Kertsi(however you spell it) was required
Edit: I wonder what peach thinks
lol maybe I'll beat the game without stickers some other time. Before I did this and was wondering if Kersti was required, I tested and saw that Bowser just does the same attacks over and over (especially when he losses his arms). Then it was clear that as long as you had enough healing, you'd be fine.
And I agree that this game shouldn't get as much hate as it does. As a stand-alone experience, I enjoyed it when I played the game the first time and I enjoyed it the second time when I made this video.
Peach and by Extension Kersti probably wonder what in the french toast are you doing.
@@BarelyAlec I enjoyed it a lot when I was little even though I now prefer Color Splash much more over it. Sticker Star is still a pretty fun 3D platformer and the hate it gets makes you think people were attempting the lost levels instead. Without savestates.
How is it no Kersti if you're using the battle spinner?
Nvm I saw what you did now
I can see how it's confusing lol
@@BarelyAlec do it again without battle spinner next time
In the kamek fight I think he drops mushrooms along with bowser.
He will drop normal mushrooms instead of flashy mushrooms though.
@@jeremybrandt7095 Interesting, that means you can have stickers other than sandals in the Kamek fight.
He can also drop worn-out jumps too.
At least Kersti doesn’t complain you used too many stickers, oh wait…
There is a problem with this: the arms can only be hit a certain amount of times before they break off. You can’t jump on the mouth unless you use iron jumps as the mouth is a spiked enemy.
I think his defense is at half while some bosses like tower power Pokey and gooper Blooper have their defense at quarter
I'm honestly not sure. I never tried calculating defenses.
What hapins next?
btw i think he is doing this because the sticker kersti is too op!
Nope. It's because Kersti is such an amazing character that I couldn't bring myself to use her as a sticker.
Just kidding, you were right.
I remember trying this (with things) and it was pretty fun
That's probably more fun than using a ton of iron jumps tbh.
I hate things

I know im saying this way too late but, you can time the mushroom to get more hp
I had no idea about that at the time for some reason. Thanks for letting me know!
What really sucks is that Bowser Jr cannot be defeated without the scissors. Big Boo cannot be defeated without the faucet. The most thing that sucks is that you need two things for the Big Cheep Cheep Battle which is the fish hook and thumbtack.
It's too bad you need Things against mini-bosses. Am I thinking of the wrong boss though because I thought infinijump can beat the big boo?
You could but if you screw the timing up, he will turn invisible and all of your attacks except for the faucet will miss.
@@jeremybrandt7095 you can use sleep on Big boo making him never go invisible or counter all his attacks with spiky helmet.
@@CaliCosmicGal That's a cool strategy! I didn't realize you could beat big boo without things or infinijumps.
Can you use regular non-shiny stickers in the final phase? Or does bowser's defense cancel it out?
I think regular work too but I could be wrong
400 hp?
Why is Bowser's final form even spiky? Last I check Mario jumps on his nose which is round
Yeah, the nose doesn't look like it would damage Mario. It's weird since Bowser's hands can be jumped on.
Can you burn Kersti?
I don't think so
@@BarelyAlec That's a shame
@@jnotez_fr You can toss her after the battle though.
So Bowser´s health cannot fall below 10 if you manage to get his health down low enough?
I guess since after his health hits zero, the game gives coins so it technically never becomes a negative number.
It's so you don't kill him too early and skip phases.
i wish he would defete him on his secont fase ):
i never saw if thts possable
I have paper mario sicker star:)

I don’t know if it’s possible to beat Bowser Jr 3rd time without tails
He still takes damage to hopslippers so I think you can.
@@BarelyAlec does spike balls work on him? Like he shot spike balls at us it isn’t impossible that he take extra damage to them to
@@CaliCosmicGal The spike ball doesn't affect flying enemies so it wouldn't hurt him.
@@BarelyAlec oh really? I thought you threw it so it hade to hit flying enemy
Can you toss kersti away?
Even if you don't use Kersti as a sticker, she gets wished back to life by Mario in the cutscene after the fight so you can't toss or sell her normally. I think some people were saying you can hack the Kersti sticker into your inventory though and then do that stuff.
Actually, you can toss her without hacking. Though I wished if you did toss Kersti the normal ending cutscene plays and she would not be behind Mario in the ending.
@@jeremybrandt7095 How do you toss her without hacking?
@@BarelyAlec After Beating him with the restrictions you go to Kersti sticker and then you press a to keep or toss it. But instead of keep, select toss and she will be out of the inventory. However the normal ending cutscene plays and somehow Mario gets Kersti back to life.
What happens if you kill bowser before he becomes giant
I don't think you can do enough damage to kill him in the phase right before the final one. I've seen videos where once he reaches low enough health (I think 100) he just falls and goes into the final phase.
Is it possible to beat bowser snow statue without fire flowers or burnhammers?
That might be an interesting fight if you ban everything fire-related. It might just be a repeat of Bowser's final form though idk. I might try that in the future since I've gotten a lot of random requests for certain bosses in this game. I'm thinking of putting a bunch of one-off requests into one video.
What’s wrong with my audio?
The audio in this video is slightly distorted because my computer can't run the 3ds emulator that well.
@@BarelyAlec ah I see, I thought it was my phone
Infinijumps player are like: 😂😂😂😂
A personal thing here: I think Bowser in his final phase is ugly when he does the fire breath.

@@BarelyAlec Kersti sells for 15 coins at the shop
If you hack it into the inventory
How come you purposely did not block the last fire attack before the end?
I wanted to show part of why I grinded for stickers by failing to run away at the beginning. That way, if I messed up blocking the fire attack a couple times, it wouldn't ruin a 40-minute attempt.
Is the attack pattern for the final phase random or just back to back before you have to predict his firebreath attack.
I'm not exactly sure how the hand attacks are decided but after them, I think he always uses his fire breath and then rockfall attack with the cycle repeating until he losses his hands. After that, I think he always uses fire breath, rockfall, fire breath, rockfall, etc.
