Honouring that old school Motown sound and working it into something of their very own, the band have received widespread acclaim for their albums Half Mile Harvest and Run Home Slow. A raw combination of soul and blues, the band’s sound has warmed the hearts of listeners everywhere with it’s melancholic, analogue tones.
Onstage singer Josh Teskey’s smoked whiskey voice defies expectation as the band around him hold an irresistible groove. Their undeniable live shows wowed audiences around the world, leaving them infected with soul and blues.

I had given up on my younger son after trying numerous times to help him with alcoholism. He just didn’t try hard enough or didn’t want to be helped so I told him it was his life and he chose to live it so He’s on his own. We had no communication for 4 yrs because I had let him live his life. I heard his wife took the children and left the state. He lost his job and his house as well. He was homeless throughout Covid and having lots of medical issues. He turned to his older brother for help because he knew I gave up on him. Sometimes to be cruel is to be kind. He is now getting the help he needs physically/medically/mentally/spiritually/socially and no longer homeless 🙏🫶🏽recently, He sent me the link to this song n performance. WHEN YOU’RE HAPPY YOU LOVE THE BEAT. WHEN YOU’RE SAD YOU FEEL THE WORDS..🙏❤️🥰👍

You guys have an amazing sound.. My hubby use to be a musician and played the sax in a soul band. They played Otis Redding , Wilson Picket and many many other artist songs. I so wish I had recorded them back them. Your sound takes me right back there and you have no idea how much I appreciate that. Hubby is 82 now and has lost his chops even though he still has his sax. He has a naked Lady Barry in the closet that needs a bit of work. If I can ever get it fixed it would be very valuable. Hubby has Alzheimer's and stage 4 lung cancer. We have been married 53 years. I so miss those days of fantastic music. Thank you once again.

Redding paved the way for this style of soul music to enter into this world, many have tried to continue his legacy but have not hit that high standard he set. The closest thing we have today that Otitis brought to the table is this band . Soul music does not belong to a nation of people . It was chosen for a specific type of people to share this deep heart felt music that only those that can deliver its deep soulful message to mankind of hurt and pain we all suffer in this place. As MLK said .... one day we all shall be a free people all if us united treating each other as brother and sister, as family and friend. The Tesky brothers continue the sound, the soul and heart felt music moving

Anyhow, I talked about the advantages of the music I and my kids for that matter. We had radio stations, our favorite tape mixes, bands we use to listen to in and around town, many it turns out made it.

    [Verse 1]
I've been in love, honey, you know it’s true
Was since that day I first laid my eyes on you
Love is a crazy game, baby
    It's how I feel
It make you oh, so high
But it takes so long to heal
    [Chorus]
    So please yeah yeah
    Won't you stay with me?
’Cause since you gone, it's all
    Pain and misery
    Honey, please yeah yeah
    Won't you stay with me?
    'Cause since you gone
    It's pain and misery
    [Verse 2]
Sometimes I curse that day of when you came along
    I was happy
But it's been pain now for so very long
    Oh, I'm begging you, honey
    Please, won't you stay?
    ’Cause I been so lonely
    Since you gone away
    [Bridge]
    Everyday is pain
In the end, it’s hard to see
Every fateful day is oh, so sad
Now that I've lost the best friend that I ever had
    [Chorus]
    Honey, please
    Won’t you stay with me?
'Cause since you gone it's all
    Pain and misery
    Honey, please, whoa please
    Won't you stay with me?
    ’Cause since you gone
    It's pain and misery
    [Outro]
    Hey
    I'm begging you, honey
    Whoa
I want you to love me
Yeah, I want you to love me
    I need you so bad

You are literally my new favourite band... I work for a Radio Station in Port Lincoln SA, and the branding only allow music from 80's, 90's and today... I always am killing to play some of this old America soul/ blues ... but all those incredible hits came out prior to the 80's so I can never play them... When I heard this song in our system, and googled your name, I nearly died finding out this was released in 2017! Thank you for being you! I can assure you will be getting lots of airtime ☺ ♥
