how can one tell if it originally came from an outlet which is lower quality or the actual store itself?

holistic79 I'm not sure exactly. I know that some overflow from the regular store hoes to the outlet as for things with minor defects (such as an interior stitching issue) but I'm not sure if Mulberry makes bags specifically for the outlets. I would guess feeling the weight and thickness of the leather would be a good start.

@@Chicprofessor Mulberry do have a separate line for outlet bags! For example the brass plate on outlet bags might not have the tree logo, the Lily bags don't have the leather woven through the chain etc etc
