I love his sequence, with Last Impression playing in the background. Scenes of urgency and desperation, while the tone of the song sounds so depressing. Then Wing Zero finally appears and the tone becomes upbeat, like “there’s hope!”
Between 2:13 and 2:24. Heero's activation passphrse maybe one of his famous lines. The first may be the most accurate to his "training" er upbringing. "I will kill you!" or "Mission Accepted!"
@@thelonelystankmuncher88797 years ago Bandai released the Metal composite Wing ZERO that had what seems to be funnels in the form of the Messer Zwerg, that unit imho is probably what the ZERO EW ver should have looked like had the concept been executed back then. The ZERO in the movie despite looking awesome. many fans knew it felt like a step down from its TV series counterpart.
That is why I love this scene. We as the audience know that Heero must succeed, but it is played in such a way that he does not know he will. He matches velocity with Wing Zero and it appears to ms that he only has a few seconds of relative velocity between him, his shuttle, and Wing Zero before he is doomed. Like I said, he has to succeed because he is the protagonist, but I can worry that he might fail.
Technically, Heero should have died here since they are both moving at an incredibly high speed. His arm should have been ripped apart from his body due to sudden de-acceleration of grabbing the ledge.
The song is so beautiful adding a sense of despair and defeat but with a semblance of hope now that the Gundam Pilots are about to arrive to end this rebellion.

Wing Zero vs Mighty Strike Freedom. Let the zero system (basically AI) take control of Wing Zero and it will give the MSF a run for its money. Change my mind.
People critic the EW gundam designs but I didnt have an issue with it as the suits gave a more Christmas feel to it. More woth Wing Zero custom and Tailgeese custom.
Endless waltz is my favorite Christmas movie
Remember, it's not Christmas until Wing Zero confirms the Shielding is activated!
Even if this is a joke, I watch it every Christmas Eve because god damnit, if Die Hard is a Christmas movie, then so is Endless Waltz

"Mission Accepted!"
I was never a wing fan, but this movie is stellar.
Still get chills when he opens the wings.
I never liked wing because I thought it was too flashy of a gundam... but god damn, did it have the best launch sequence in the franchise.
@@BerserkCD imagine if the feathers had a dragoon system
It hits different a lot different!

damn hearing those notes when he jumps out of the shuttle hit me RIGHT where i needed it
So I love the physics on this. Heero has a few seconds and almost fails.
It is a well done scene isn't it? :)
Imagine if he just fell and missed Wing Zero completely 😂

He did fall off a building then "reattached" his leg afterwards
Merry Christmas!

They did Maya dirty with her appearance with Relina at the Presidential mansion. She looks like an old hermit with smooth skin how shes hunched over.
Chills everytime

Your Christmas song vs my Christmas song (last impressions)

Till he plows the shit out of it ha. Mean how many Gundams did heero blow up or damage blady throughout the whole series? Lol
The best. Pure love.
Anyone else watching this, this christmas?
I just wish Bandai include this part 2:38 on Gunpla kits. I have always wondered how those wings work
They do
Legendary scene
I love this movie

Change my mind.
"...."
I think it would be a good fight, and, given the Mighty Strike Freedom's power, it might even end in a tie.
I just watch Detective Conan where Two Mix got kidnapped. 😅
