Then you will see how monkeys are supposed to live. Those mothers have their offspring weaned fully by the time they are 9 months old. You will see how humans should always interact with wild animals. They don't interfere in the monkeys lives and cause chaos or disharmony. If one of their offspring were to try to nurse at this one's age they'd soon find themselves getting a nasty bite from mom for their troubles. This behavior is not normal to true wild monkeys and quite frankly it's disgusting.

Normally her body would tell her she’s hungry and taxed and can’t make more milk. Here she never teaches baby to forage. None of them REALLY forage. They’re fat beggars. Rainbow is a year old right now. That's what a one year old macaque looks like. These monkeys are at least 3 years old. They definitely know how to get their own food. They're not this big surviving on mom's milk. They're just spoiled brats and she's a useless mother. Her job is to teach them to be independent, she's failing miserably. Allowing these at least 3 year olds, maybe older, to nurse and giving in to their tantrums is the exact opposite of what she's supposed to be doing. Like is she ever going to wean them or will she wait until they're full grown adults and she can't get them off of her and the troop has to step in and stop the nonsense. All of the other mothers are laughing at her. I've noticed when mother's nurse juveniles, other mother monkeys walk away from them and won't sit near them. It's like they're embarrassed for her. Or disgusted by her, which I think is probably the case. Ninety percent of us are disgusted by it, That ratio probably applies to the troop as well. She's creating TWO Sweet peas and the troop will NOT stand for that. Sweetpea randomly disappeared after constantly honking and screaming for his ridiculous excuse for a mother's milk and she ALWAYS gave in. I'm betting the two either killed him or chased him off bc he's too old and was a problem monkey. Troops are mainly females with an alpha male. Just like with elephants and lions, they chase the males off at a certain age.
All these troops and their natural way of life had been interrupted and forever changed for the worse due to humans feeding them things that aren't their natural diet and teasing them with food as reward for unnatural ways and acts. So the blame here is on the humans that started this sick game they play with them for profit. Is truly sad......their way of life will never be the same again now. May Our Heavenly Father, The Creator of all things have mercy on these poor animals that are just a product off their environment and at no fault of their own doing but only being born into this sick world we live in.....
She is a loving mom. In China and Hong Kong the Macaques really are filmed wild, they don't have the interference of Vo's. Families, grandmothers, Moms children of both stay together in the group and our loving. To family members.

Monkeys this big no longer need milk or any sustenance from the mother. Moms body shouldn't have to try to support her own plus that of teenager monkeys. They should have been weaned from nursing and clinging a long time ago. these are not babies and acting like a baby is a manipulation tactic to get what they want. Smart mother's see through this all fed don't show themselves to be manipulated and fooled. They're plenty big/old enough to walk by themselves and forage for their own food.

Weaning is a process and varies on how long or when. Weaning can begin as soon as four months. It can last up to 22 months in some macaque species. Or until the next sibling is born. I think it’s great the mothers take care of their young.

Inspite of the rude comments, I find that expressing love and affection from one to another at any age is a reflection of well balanced and healthy relationships and a close bond within the family and friends ❤️ and because of unbalanced and unhealthy thoughts, makes people feel inclined to make rude and negative opinions on the subject because they don't have the ability to love or to recognize what true love is. Maybe because they really never experienced it from their mothers so they can't really identify what is being loved and being spoiled and with that rude and hostile comments are the reflection of what they were deprived of growing up in a less affectionate atmosphere. Then you will see how monkeys are supposed to live. Those mothers have their offspring weaned fully by the time they are 9 months old. You will see how humans should always interact with wild animals. They don't interfere in the monkeys lives and cause chaos or disharmony. If one of their offspring were to try to nurse at this one's age they'd soon find themselves getting a nasty bite from mom for their troubles. This behavior is not normal to true wild monkeys and quite frankly it's disgusting.
The part that amazes me is these idiots don't realize there are 2 teats so each could have one. Like seriously? You don't see the one teat just dangling there on her chest? You have to fight over one? Omg!

Everyone repeating the same sentiment if why’s mom not weaning? Why isn’t big baby foraging? Are you really at all shocked when you see a year old and over SP and Sara monkey and Janet, then Janna nurse well into age 2?? It’s bc these park monkey moms are three times the size of a real wild monkey. They have a giant caloric surplus that allows them to be taken advantage of by the humans who REWARD them for nursing well into adulthood with piles of food. The biggest incentive there is. Normally her body would tell her she’s hungry and taxed and can’t make more milk. Here she never teaches baby to forage. None of them REALLY forage. They’re fat beggars. Then they get over populated from having too much time on their hands not foraging, not weaning, never teaching what they don’t know or don’t have to know! Besides? What forest? Where?? It’s a concrete jungle they live in. Foraging is knocking over trash cans or stealing from humans. The easiest answer is for the humans to stop feeding the monkeys.

Rainbow is a year old right now. That's what a one year old macaque looks like. These monkeys are at least 3 years old. They definitely know how to get their own food. They're not this big surviving on mom's milk. They're just spoiled brats and she's a useless mother. Her job is to teach them to be independent, she's failing miserably. Allowing these at least 3 year olds, maybe older, to nurse and giving in to their tantrums is the exact opposite of what she's supposed to be doing. Like is she ever going to wean them or will she wait until they're full grown adults and she can't get them off of her and the troop has to step in and stop the nonsense. All of the other mothers are laughing at her. I've noticed when mother's nurse juveniles, other mother monkeys walk away from them and won't sit near them. It's like they're embarrassed for her. Or disgusted by her, which I think is probably the case. Ninety percent of us are disgusted by it, That ratio probably applies to the troop as well. She's creating TWO Sweet peas and the troop will NOT stand for that. Sweetpea randomly disappeared after constantly honking and screaming for his ridiculous excuse for a mother's milk and she ALWAYS gave in. I'm betting the two either killed him or chased him off bc he's too old and was a problem monkey. Troops are mainly females with an alpha male. Just like with elephants and lions, they chase the males off at a certain age.

Monkeys this big no longer need milk or any sustenance from the mother. Moms body shouldn't have to try to support her own plus that of teenager monkeys. They should have been weaned from nursing and clinging a long time ago. these are not babies and acting like a baby is a manipulation tactic to get what they want. Weaning is a process and varies on how long or when. Weaning can begin as soon as four months. It can last up to 22 months in some macaque species. Or until the next sibling is born. I think it’s great the mothers take care of their young.

Inspite of the rude comments, I find that expressing love and affection from one to another at any age is a reflection of well balanced and healthy relationships and a close bond within the family and friends ❤️ and because of unbalanced and unhealthy thoughts, makes people feel inclined to make rude and negative opinions on the subject because they don't have the ability to love or to recognize what true love is. Maybe because they really never experienced it from their mothers so they can't really identify what is being loved and being spoiled and with that rude and hostile comments are the reflection of what they were deprived of growing up in a less affectionate atmosphere.
