Regarding the ad read at the start. Just to make something clear - data brokering companies are required BY LAW to delete data upon the direct request of the person whose data they are holding. you do not need a secondary company to do that for you, however the details on what that process supposed to look like isnt sufficiently defined in the US which gives such companies leeway to obfuscate the process to deter such claims from going through. Still, always investigate the matter yourself before contacting outside entities.

One thing I haven’t seen yet in the comments. Robbie’s Force Cage may actually buy them enough time for the Mighty Nein to possibly make it them to help fight Luda.
He can teleport out of it. Matt would not make him sit there for an hour if M9 getting there is an option in his mind when he is clearly working towards a specific encounter. The force cage basically guaranteed his escape from this fight. Sure he has to make a save, but I doubt he will fail at every attempt.
In the game world, they'd probably have a chance, depending on whether Ludinus knows of M9's whereabouts. In the context of the game/story, sadly no chance! :(
If they actually end up waiting the whole hour, who knows how many Ruby Vangaurd and Reilorans may get there - they have an entire civilization's armies at their disposal.
That would be extremely crazy and I love it!!! Hahaha. Two parties v 1. I can already see the headtitles: "Luda soloed two parties together with a mom, released a god eater and went to Vox Machina to ruin their precious night together, all in time for dinner!".
I love that Ludinus doesn’t care if he dies, as long as his eon long plan comes to fruition. You don’t get that kind of response/mindset from villains nowadays. I also liked seeing the expressions of the others, as they clearly didn’t expect that rebuttal.
If he didn't care about dying, he would not need to completely consume Liliana, as getting her powers for 24 hours rather than permanently would be enough.
@@themonolougist The way I see it, Ludinus really is not motivated by wanting to 'enjoy the fruits of his labor' himself. He believes himself acting for the greater common good. He thinks the Gods have a terrible effect on Exandria, and is willing to sacrifice himself to expel them. He's also willing to sacrifice anyone else for that purpose, and may at times kill others without it directly being needed for the purpose - specifically about sacrificing Liliana, one of the NPCs said something about her being judged - so I guess her termination is a punishment for betrayal.

I mean, that last guy was barely touched until Orym started hitting him, and by the end of that he was down 72hp and had at most 37hp left. Same! I wonder if we'll even see the result in this campaign or if maybe it's too late. I wonder if planting it on their first trip up, by the waterfall in the ancient ruins, would have netted different results.

Excited to kick off 2025 with a conversation with the BBEG. Wonder if they'll be able to defeat him next episode and then have a couple of wrap up episodes?
Hello, hello, Monday Crew! Time is tickin' down on this awful, terrible, horrible, no-good year... but thankfully we have each other now and when 2025 begins. Happy holidays, be safe, take care of each other, and... is it Thursday, January 2nd, yet?
I’ve seen this type of comment on every video and it’s finally time. 3 campaigns and I am FINALLY caught up, it’s been a beautiful journey, I’ll see you all live on January 2nd.
PHB: Remember that the following conditions apply the *incapacitated condition*, so they will also break concentration: paralyzed, petrified, stunned, and unconscious. Matt 3:04:30 Hypnotic pattern means they're incapacitated so they lose their action and bonus action but they do not lose concentration....
yes but the effect ends after taking damage and they could take a bonus action to concentrate, so losing concentration for hypnotic pattern was not permanent anyway
I love the idea that they are sliding down into the deep, dark depths of Ruidus but most of them seem to be having the time of their lives. They do not know where the slides go so they might as well just enjoy it and hope that their landing is filled with pillows and feathers.
Ultimate plot twist would be Ludinus turning a simulacrum into Liliana and using arcanist aura to make sure no one could tell, and then use this against them, while the real Ludinus and Lelianna are elsewhere as he sucks her up.
That wouldn't be a plot twist at all. Do you know what the term even means? That would just be contrived nonsense. Which....actually yeah, that will probably happen as most of this campaign has been contrived nonsense.

Technically, if you read the rules on concentration, you cannot concentrate on a spell if you are incapacitated which is part of stun and part of hypnotic pattern. It’s in the 5e 2014 rules under the concentration section of the manual.

@@rybosny I always assumed in that instance, due to the specific ruling (incapacitated condition) taking priority, the concentration rules meant incapacitated as in 0 hit points, to be quite honest. You might be right though, unsure, I'd have to double check.
I have been waiting for eons for all minds burn to connect to Ruidus. So excited to see what happens with that!
Same! I wonder if we'll even see the result in this campaign or if maybe it's too late. I wonder if planting it on their first trip up, by the waterfall in the ancient ruins, would have netted different results.
I just want to say that Taleisin's sweater is amazing, especially with his hair color :)
1:22:20 - it might be nothing, just Matt setting the scenery... But I feel like the only other time they encountered (dripping) water on Ruidus, was at the backdoor where it dripped from the portal under the lake.
Water the chances that Matt setup another backdoor that's right here :D:D:D
I wonder how cold it was in the studio. Everybody bundled up quite a bit, including Travis.
What's with Bards and clutching it in Critical Role? LMAO So good!
Bards are the most fun support characters. They’re honestly a little OP.
Remember back when it was live and Laura ditched the fucking Game Awards to play dnd ? Those were the times !
I need an Ariks Eshteross t-shirt that says - Tonight I bake…
At dawn, We bake.
Front of the shirt: “at dawn, we plan”
Back of the shirt: “tonight, I bake”
I know the "Tonight...I bake!" quote is Eshteross's, but would it be nice to change that to a "Tonight, we bake"? With FCG presenting one of his baked goods as well? 👀
@@kagemarunl🥲 that’s so sweet
Matt doing the over the shoulder Akuma-esque pose, wasn't something I knew I needed.
Timestamp?
@eagle1ify It's the thumbnail! It almost looks like he's Ludinus using the funnel on Laura
RIGHT? Thumbnail for this one goes hard for no reason 😂
Can't wait to see that slide ride animated. Like a Scooby-Doo bit.
I was thinking like that scene involving the cave system water slides in The Goonies
Love these mushroom people. They're kind of like the doozers in the Fraggle
4:25:32 Robbie promised he'd be able to use Force Cage eventually, and was able to use it the moment it mattered the most 😭
Spoilers...
I'm gonna be honest, I was half expecting and half hoping that when Liliana whispers to Imogen, she would just say "run" like in her dreams, and do some kind of big storm themed sacrifice play
Excited to kick off 2025 with a conversation with the BBEG. Wonder if they'll be able to defeat him next episode and then have a couple of wrap up episodes?
Won't go further than 1 wrap up episode.
3:44:35 Marisha is hilarious. Clip that
Hello, hello, Monday Crew! Time is tickin' down on this awful, terrible, horrible, no-good year... but thankfully we have each other now and when 2025 begins.
Happy holidays, be safe, take care of each other, and... is it Thursday, January 2nd, yet?
Merry Christmas and Critmas to you and yours!
After 2 years, I’m finally fully caught up!! This is the first episode I’ve had to wait for and damn im addicted😂 thank you for a couple great years!
Congrats! 🎉 bummer that it's just before the new year pause but it will fly by as always
Welcome to the wait! Is it Thursday yet?
Woohoo!
Don't worry, they're just getting started 😂 lol
I had this moment last episode and was going through it. WELCOME TO THE PARTY🎉
Have a Merry Christmas/Critmas everyone 🙏
You too. 🙂
You too friend!
Yeay 🎉
Merry Critmas and a Happy New Year to you too ☃🎄🥂
I’ve seen this type of comment on every video and it’s finally time. 3 campaigns and I am FINALLY caught up, it’s been a beautiful journey, I’ll see you all live on January 2nd.
🎉 Congrats and happy New Year!
I haven't even watched the whole thing but seeing everyone laugh at a joke by Ashton has made me so happy 🥹 48:48
4:00:00 Happy Birthday Jare (From Thursday)
The irony of Marisha with silvery barbs calling any spell bullshit is not lost on me hahaha
Trivia: Unironically, Robin got it close. Errol Flynn's Capitain Blood will be 100 next year.
I wish the Aston jacket came saying "just don't' on the back. But I'm cutting black denim and bleaching it a little then stitching it on.
1:00:05 "This improvised battle map using a napkin has been brought to you by WizKids!"
Ooh…the earliest time the gang caught Sam’s reveal shirt.🎉🎉🎉
Incapacitated breaks concentration, as per the concentration rulings: "You lose concentration on a spell if you are incapacitated or if you die."
*tips fedora* my’ceit
Spoiler
Ah, Robbie hates chairs too!
I MISSED BELLS HELLS EPISODES!!!!! MY BELOVEDS
But they're the worst ones.
@@transientanus no buts, thats subject of being your opinion, and others would highly disagree.
Just accept others think otherwise.
@smashbrandiscootch719 ....
Lol
Ummm
Where is the punch line🤣😂
Naaaahhh
Worst yet was / is MN
* Maybe Calamity #1, which was a mini -Master piece
1. VOX MACHINA
2. BELLZ
3. MN's worst story of all the campaigns way too forced,
but they are all fun in their own ways
@@transientanus objectively wrong
Ludinus is giving me Rex Goodwind Evil Dark Signer vibes after this episode

Combat essentially lasts until end of episode
I kinda only tune in on thursdays for sam's ad reads. then monday comes around, and i'm like, 'oh yeah... there's a dnd game"
Due to the 3am start time for the stream for me in the UK, this tends to be my routine with it too.
Liam's sweater is adorable, just wanted to point that out
ENJOY!!! Happy Critmas to all!
Darmok and Jalad at Tanagra
Deep Trek reference. 👍🏽
Shaka... when the walls fell.
I used to have that bumper sticker
@@theGreatRedFrizzWhere did you get that! I just looked on a few sites, and couldnt find one
Temba. His arms wide
The opening proves that Tal could totally voice Judge Dredd in an animated series!
Thank god they finally did something with the seed 😂 I was PRAYING that they wouldn't forget to use that and just finish the campaign with it in the bag.
They need to make a myconid race for DnD already. I love mushrooms!
There IS a myconoid race.
They did, in 1st edition.
This thumbnail goes HARD
Just a horse girl and her mother.
@@adamgettings2557 Oh shit, I thought it was supposed to resemble the Traveller and Jester. Yours make much more sense, thanks!
(And Matt makes a beautiful Southern bell mom, but we already knew that. 😌)
@kagemarunl I think it's more for BH is up against the clock and out of everyone Imogen has bigger consequences if the group can't get to her mother in time.
Day 100 of asking for a Laudna wooden doll house backpack with a pate plushie coin purse
I love the Limewire/Winamp reference @ 3:05:07. I'm as old as these guys, and I spent hours DLing movies back in the day before streaming became a thing. Also, I love Marisha's hoodie. Sad it's no longer available.
Monday crew! We made it!
4:18:51 I can see Matt‘s hearth disintegrate 😂
I wonder if the defensive field can be damaged. The number of exalted concentrating could determine the strength of the shield
That silvery barbs ruling against ash's attack was beat.
03:03:25 I love how Matt so effortlessly thinks in 3 dimensions on the battlefield.
I just gotta say, Laura looks so good here
Technically, if you read the rules on concentration, you cannot concentrate on a spell if you are incapacitated which is part of stun and part of hypnotic pattern. It’s in the 5e 2014 rules under the concentration section of the manual.
I don’t want this campaign to end!!! I finally caught up and I’ve fallen in love again with their characters…really hope they do another campaign. Of D and D. With Robbie.
Monday Crew!!
WOOOO MONDAY 👋👋
I just want them to use their funnel on Luda himself.
You can tell how much they love each other by how patient they've been while having to explain the basic mechanics of the game to some members over and over and over for the last decade.
2h51m: Me realizing that while Vox Machina and Mightly Nein will are comedy action animated series, thanks to Laudna Bells Hells will be horror. shiver.
Finally caught up on all 3 campaigns after 2 years!!!!🎉🎉🎉
Woohoo!
Welcome 🎉
I love this thing these people do and I love said people but the art shown during breaks will always be one of my favorite things to see. ITS SO GOOD
I am just sad we wont see another new episode until Jan. but woohoo love these guys
the little mushroom guys reminded me of the mushroom guys from dark souls 1, they look cute there too, but they really pack a punch
Love it when Ashley gets intense, and it works out for her
Monday Critters, Mount Up!!!
