Hi Megan, Thanks for your videos ..very useful. One quick question...I'm looking for a Account executive with import and export skills, because import and export are very much needed for this job title, so how can I search with right keywords strings which is very appropriate???
(CEO OR COO OR Owner OR Founder OR Co-founder OR Partner) AND ("Health care" OR Clinic OR Hospital) AND Florida NOT ("HR Business Partner" OR "Human Resources Business Partner") From above search query why I am gettting all HR Business Partners in results where I wanted to avoid them! Please help.
Hey Megan, very informative as always. Follow up question on your video here ... if I'm searching under the "People" field for passive candidates that are let's say Accountants and I want to restrict resident location to a specific state. What does that type of search look like?
Hey! It's probably easiest to just use LinkedIn's native filters for this. You can filter by location. So, type "accountants" (or whatever), select People, and then use the filters to define the location.
Hi Isaiah! I'm not sure how you'd do that with boolean searches BUT you can filter your results by companies, and then expand All Filters, and there's a section where it says "Job listings on LinkedIn." Check the box for yes. :-) Hope this helps!
@@YourBFFMegan I’m an aspiring HR recruiter looking for a job in consultancy. when I heard of Boolean search. I was so excited 😎 then after sometime, I’m like what about availability 🤷♂️ of the candidates. Job portals have an strong edge over this key feature in Boolean search.
@@Isaiah_writes_360 Ohoh wait. To confirm, you're talking about the availability of INDIVIDUALS, meaning you want to filter out people who are looking for work? (I think I misunderstood your comment.)
@@Isaiah_writes_360 Got it. I'm not seeing a good equivalent for this just yet (I'll keep playing around with it), aside from looking for people who have the #OpenToWork badge. But that's not super efficient. Let me keep poking around.
New subscriber! Thanks for the great information. Is it possible to search for posts (not people) based on the person's title? For example, what if I want to see posts by people with Title of X?
Thanks for supporting my channel, Ike! That's a fascinating question. If there's a way to do that, I can't figure it out. I tried searching "SEO manager" and filtered by posts. But from what I can see, it only allows you to target posts that mention that, without regard to titles. :-(

LinkedIn keeps telling me I’ve reach my my monthly limit. Is there anyway getting around that?
Depending on what you're searching, you can do a google search to get the LinkedIn URL.
