Another thing people don't realize is that you can turn traction control on and off. That's why it felt like his car was sliding out a lot lmao. If you hold right on the D-Pad you can pull up a menu that can turn it on and off. along with headlights, quick GPS and changing from auto to manual on the go. It's actually a really cool function

The AI voices are kind of disappointing but the rest of the game seems to be solid. The game looks good and the handling seems to be somewhat good too. I actually like the fuel and tire system but they need some adjustments. I can't wait to actually buy and play it. For 20 bucks it's definitely a steal, specially when new games cost like 50 to 70 bucks.
This is a SOLID foundation for one hell of a racing game once they fix the Voices, Tweak the AI, Tweak the handling a bit overtime and some QoL stuff such as Nitro being more of a BOOM when using it and having more intense starts to races. Overall i'm loving this game man.
Honestly, the AI voices could've been done well if they recorded the voice lines themselves, with the cadence and lilting and vocal tones they wanted, and then chose the same voice banks they used here but dubbed over their voice recordings. Heck, I can do a convincing impression of Jane Shepard, or Robert Downey Jr, or Harry Potter, just by affecting the accent, speaking with a clear, clean voice (as in getting _all_ of the phlegm and post-nasal drip out, which is futile most days) and using Voice AI. Its kinda funny, the last AI voice videos I did weren't actually any good since my voice was crackly and stuffy and I was tired so I kept skipping words in the GPT generated script and correcting myself, and after enough bad takes I gave up and uploaded it. Meh.
Tuning is deff everything in CarX games and trust it feels alot better racing once you get to that point and drifting feels just like CarXDrift once setup right. But yes its a bitch getting lvld up and unlocking everything to do that on CarXStreet takes some grinding. CarxDrift was alot easier to freely tune .. just one Ultimate upgrade and you could tune everything.
i was looking forward to trying the game out, but my experience was terrible, the game is terribly optimised with graphics, i kept getting frame spikes for no reason, i dont know how people get it to run so well
