Honestly revolutionary game here... Basically the first mobile open world racing game... And it's free. Amazing stuff tbh
Free... Till you start playing and realizing you cant do anything until you spend thousands of dollars or play 24 hours a day. Really hope these pay to play games dont start coming to PC...
@AA92 Then charge for your game or hell, even charge a subscription. But locking content behind paywalls or making a complete grind-fest where you can hardly progress, nah. Granted, i haven't played this game, but doubt it will be any different than games like CSR. Especially for the sequel or in a few months when they realized how people with way to much money will literally spend thousands on this game just to be better than others.
Even look at NFS world. Never again.. lol
@@Maniaak66 that’s the problem, you haven’t played the game. It’s not too bad honestly. Granted they make the game a little grindy, but it’s not too much that it’s a bother. Plus, it’s a free game.
Would you want to work on a game and not be paid for the work you’ve done?
So you're just going to ignore the hundreds of mobile open world racing games out there
game is incredibly grindy, but there is a way to grind:
- beat the first crew, then you will unlock “gold events”
- do the gold event and win
- you will have to wait 3 hours to do another one
- go to settings and change time to skip ahead 3 hours
- do the race again
- repeat
turning back the time will reduce your fuel, but you can always refill it
I used to do the similar trick back in the day to skip repair time in RR3 lol
Not to mention the ai is always up your behind or they ram you off the road. I had to uninstall it was too Grindy.
Bro my Miata is too slow to even beat them, I keep get p4 on all sprints, and an open diff so can't really drift

The only few things I currently hate about this game are:
- No camera perspective movement thing. It will be helpful at some sharp turns.
- Graphics rendering distance isn’t good (even on the iPad Pro M1)
I guess they can fix it with better optimisation.
Here’s another complaint I have. WHY LOCK PROGRESSION BEHIND AN ARBITRARY CUSTOMIZATION RATING? IT INFURIATES ME, EVEN IN UG2.
Its paggy on my 13 pro max. But on my m1 ipad its relatively okey i guess
Also it crashes on iPad mini newest gen
@@TheHungryMammoth Runs smooth on my M1, but I think the processor is capable of doing better in terms of both framerate and graphics rendering distance

Bro the AI in this game is actually competitive at times even broken when they can spin you out with ease but barely budge when you pressure them
I had to uninstall before I destroy my iPhone playing this game. Always up your behind no matter the upgrades or they just ran you off the road constantly

I love it, luck is such a factor, you can see the AI getting crashed out themselves a lot. So many photo finishes. I can’t think of an AI I like better

You can also tune your car, in the performance upgrades if it has a cog it is tuneable - ie the ecu allows you to change the Rev limiter
Games that lock Vehicles behind paywalls are already going to be shit and you cannot spin it any other way they are predatory as hell
Yeah, I really don't like that. I'm on the fence about the ones where you have to pay gold for it, because you can still earn that gold in a lot of the games (carx included) but, when they lock exclusive cars that you can't get in the regular dealership behind the paywall, that's when I have a problem.
I think the important thing is, that the cars you have to pay for aren't better than ones that you can build with in game coin. I've bought a few from CarxDrift2 purely because the were pretty

Ive been playing this for a few days now, it really feels like nfsu2 on mobile. You get a reasonable amount of money for races, a few cars (like that blue and silver rx7 you showed briefly at the beginning) that only cost $2.99 or $3.99 to get and they win every race ive put them in, to collect more cars.
The screenshot system is great too, takes beautiful pictures
You have to do 240 races to get that Supra to give you an idea of how long it would take
Best thing you can do if you want to spend a little money, just buy a car instead of ingame currency
still better than granturismo (last time i checked at least)

it might be a little different for console and PC release but I like the fact that it's not as easy to make money in this one because in drift you could make millions with very little effect needed
I was actually waiting for this to release on PC, but with those micro transactions, I'm glad my wait is over!
If you played the first CarX you generally got the idea of how to customize the cars and the races are tougher than they look to

Hey bro i can say you than the devs are working only on android version rn, they said it on discord. Btw the first map extension will come soon (i think few month), and as we can see it will be a mountain map extension, that should be very cool !
Theo idk if you know this but you can turn on/off traction control while driving by tapping the orange square icon under the speedometer
In the paint shop if you click on standard you can change it to things like metallic and it looks way better

Gotta tap "Upgrade" in the section where the wheels are and increase the tire pressure to make the car drift properly.

main problem with car x is that the pc version gets so many more credits that it makes the mobile versions basically unplayable because you have to grind for hours

In my opinions when CarX Street released in android its gonna be wayyy more players than ios. Bc tha ios is expensive it comes 100k+ or 80k+ mean while the android is 100k70k+ 50k+ 40k+30k+.
The games not so bad and I think you will like to progress in this as it is very challenging without spending money because I am struggling
