4:05 AS: “Tonight we’re onboard N8668A” Also AS: *shows N8554X* Jokes aside, great video! I’ve flown with Southwest a lot in recent years but never through O’Hare (yet). Subbed!
being a somewhat new subscriber what i really like about your videos is its a mixture of voice over and caption. During the parts like take off and landing and taxi you let us enjoy the view.... in flight you talk us through the catering, cabin and bathrooms
Southwest has fallen off since the pandemic, the ticket prices soared and they are much more better at Midway, You can look how much i flew Southwest before the pandemic on my Myflightradar24, amazing video and I love your channel!
Flew out of T5 at O’hare on icelandair it was all around phenomenal I also saw 9H-HFA operating for SAS on the 8th when I flew out I was curies because it looked like a wide body charter flight!
Can you make a video about your thoughts on UA's meltdown, how it compares to WN's, and your thoughts on AA's HEAT system that supposedly prevented some weather cancellations?
What UA had appears to be a case of the ripple effects brought on by weather impacting a major hub, while WN's was a result of them being dependent on very outdated technology.
Southwest airlines has been good for low fares and connectivity; used to fly them regularly within Texas and in the Southern states in the 90's and early 2000's. Loved their freindly service culture in the cabin. Only think I did'nt like were those pretzels 😃
Your videos are very informative Request You to also mention baggage allowance and food provided in particular airlines And do they also have Halal food options on US or European carriers.
Thank you, will do. European carriers do offer halal options but US airlines it’s a bit hard to find. I couldn’t find any halal options when I fly US airlines internationally.
It was mentioned that it's a long walk to SW and the M terminal... I wanted to add its a LOOOONNNG WALK!!! For anyone with any kind of walking issues or even if in a hurry and need to board be aware of this. There are wheelchairs and transport workers available being paid by the airport for those who need it. Of course you would tip them also.
Seeing that AA LHR flight being delayed by 3 hrs, wouldn't be surprised if BA's A380 picked up some new customers who can get across the pond that much earlier(assuming BA itself is on time)--that long walk to M40 would be an even longer slog for the elderly and disabled--that cement tiled floor would be hard on one's legs, hips and feet--I was getting winded just watching you make the walk! In flying SWA, I always pay extra for their 'Early Bird' check-in, guarantees me boarding in the 'A' group and if I'm feeling wealthy, will sometimes give in to the kiosk upgrade allowing for more points on my SWA account
That walk is really an issue since there’s no moving walkways or people movers present for those with limited mobility. I upgraded to the A1-A15 group on my flight back!
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about your video. My comment is regarding WHY does Southwest even need to take up valuable gate space at Terminal 5, an INTERNATIONAL facility? If they INSIST on flying out of ORD, keep them at Terminal 2.
Southwest should allow people to choose seats ahead of time. It is easy when people can do it themselves online. Southwest probably didn't allow seat choice when they started to save money on customer service agents and technology costs assiciated with seat selection but now people can do it themselves. It would be the only airline with seat selection no baggage fees and no change fees. It would be better than the legacy carriers in that regard.

Thanks so much, I totally agree.

I love how the 737-800’s engine starts. I always think sportscar
9:12 I flew that same A380 on the same route and flight number Iast spring!
they stopped flying the a380 because ba moved to terminal 3, which doesn't have an a380 sized gate.
Nice video! I absolutely love SWA and I will fly them more.
Were you in Dallas for the aviation show? I think it was in Dallas this year.
Indeed I was!

Are you going to try out the AA CRJ-200 from CMI? I saw they added one of those flights from CMI-ORD on August 15th.
I’m not sure, I would like to at some point especially the 170/175
Your videos are very informative

I'm still waiting for Southwest to provide nonstops to ATL and SAN from O'Hare.
Glad Chicago O'Hare expanded Concourse M
It's nice but a hella walk especially when unexpected for someone like me and family who had no idea.

Yeah I think your last experience with SW to ORD was not the norm. I know many people who fly PHX to ORD with SW with no issues.
