Thank you for the great feedback. My day job and home schooling have been keeping me busy. I'm hoping to get some more time soon to finish production of some weaving videos.

    Lovely tutorial!
The Merino looks like the combed preparation I've been told is called top, because the fibers are all aligned parallel, rather than the more jumbled look if roving that carding usually gives.

I have a video on my channel on how to finish off a weaving. Here is the link ruclips.net/video/Tm5kR6mezG4/видео.html I am also producing a video at the moment that shows you how to tie off the top and bottom of your weaving so that there is less chance of the yarn unraveling. Pat

How do you make the roving to look fluffy again? When I tucked the ends, I laid the loom on a flat hard surface and the roving now looks really flat.Help :)

Hi Carolina Try gently pulling some of the fibers out with a knitting needle?

I love your accent! Are you Australian? In every video on weaving I have watched, they’ve all had the same accent, and they’ve been from multiple channels. I wonder...maybe weaving is big there 🤔

    • @weavewithpat

Yes, I am an Aussie. Not sure why there are so many of us teaching weaving on RUclips as the weaving community is global. Could be something to do with all our sheep! Cheers Pat

Hi Meriem I use wool tops for most of the video. The silk sample shown towards the end is a mulberry silk top. Pat
