I only read volume 1 and thought it was very good. However I am going to wait until the mangs concludes before I read the rest of the series. I prefer to read finished manga over ongoing.
honestly a 9.5/10 manga for me it does almost everything right. Art, storytelling, pacing, character designs, power system. its all great gachiakuta is my personal favourite manga rn. I've been following it for a decent amount of time and i think the anime adaptation (if handled correctly) will make the series pop off.
I agree with this. As much as I love a lot of other battle shonens a little more, such as make the exorcist fall in love & dandadan, i still think gachiakuta has more potential to be the hit big among shonen fans. Like it has everything needed to succeed - amazing and distinct artstyle - interesting worldbuilding and powersystem - well thought out plot - cool characters and sick designs marketable for merch and cosplays - story that feels open to a larger demographic ( from 13 to adulthood) All it requires is for studio bones to give it an amazing adaptation, and the rest is history. I really hope it actually succeeds
Feels good to be wrong, huh?😅 Studio bones can’t make Gachiakuta in broad daylight like MHA was constantly because it has a very dark tone. It literally starts with the protagonist falling into darkness. In addition to all the trash, the poverty and brutal society beneath.
Despite what people may say, I'm genuinely happy to say I was wrong. I gained a bit of a rep as a hater of the series, but like I said before, I've always wanted this series to do well. With time, I've only become more interested in the manga and I can't wait to see how it grows.
Contrary to popular belief, most studios generally have little to do with what an anime looks like or its overall quality but rather its director and staff and overall scheduling being why certain anime look better than others. It's why not every Mappa anime looks like Jujutsu Kaisen.
@@professorspectre5425yeah I know but it was rather frustrating to see my villain academia and paranormal liberation war in broad daylight as it were rather dark, dangerous and threatening story segments. MHA is of course in its core a rather happy go lucky series. Since it’s centered around high schoolers. Gachiakuta is a darker, dirty and gritty series in its core.
