Quick little aside about the combiner I always mention in the TFSAFARI sponsor part. They aren't giving it to me and I know that. I mention it because it's funny, not cause I want them to give it to me. I've been putting a little bit aside every pay period for it. Mentioning it is a little inside joke between me and TFSAFARI, and me and the viewers.
Some people didn't get it so I figured I'd clear that up

@@tadihotado3518 I don’t watch every one of his reviews, mostly cause so much of them are “formulaic” with the “squirrel!”s and “Pew pew bang bang”s and “second verse, just like the first”s and “it rolls/slides, like rolling/sliding things should roll/slide”s, etc…
But if you want good size comparisons and you need to reference the transformations, he’s kinda the go to guy
@@SylviaMoonbeam1127 honestly true, transformation is an "emgo go to" part, but not size comparison, cause im pretty sure jobby the hong does it better (he compared his figures to a water bottle for christ sakes)
@@tadihotado3518 not all bottles are same size though, and I don’t necessarily WANT to see how a figure compares to Madoka and Godzilla. I want to see how it’ll compare to other characters from the wave or theme. Don’t compare an Optimus to a Dasani bottle. Compare Optimus to another Optimus or two, a Bumblebee and maybe a recent Megatron. You know?
@@SylviaMoonbeam1127 meh true, but for me i need to know the actual size of it, comparing something to something thats inconsistent just isnt working for me (hell voyager just changed their scales again to borderline legend scale with some figures, at least the dasani bottle is consistent)

It's crazy how grimlock is so big and has so many details it's also crazy how such a small optimus figure is more movie accurate than must figures
It doesn't transform. Being accurate than most figures isn't a high bar to cross.

the transformation looks like a combination of Studio Series Grimlock and AoE Grimlock, looks amazing
Picked this guy up a couple months ago, and he's now the centrepiece of my 3rd party shelf. Absolute unit of a figure, and a marvel of engineering. The fact he can even stand up as a Dino is unreal when you look at the figure. His legs are so far back that you'd naturally assume he'd be front heavy and fall over. But that die-cast panel that forms his mace manages to counter balance the figure by weighing down his ass so he doesn't fall over. It's insane.
Also, quick aside, you neglected to mention the Dino mode has a posable tongue. That detail adds a lot to the look of this guy. All those promo renders for the movie had his tongue sticking out when he roars, and this figure can do that too, and it looks fantastic.
There's actually a little more back transformation that you might have missed. Nothing major though
They need too make Scorn and the rest of the Dinobots
And they should make the rest of the tf4 autobots to go with them

This figure is amazing, especially as a display piece. I wish the dino mode was easier to get to stand up though, and I don't like how the staff partsforms but also can't store the handle part or the mace hand part, but overall for the price that TFSafari has him listed for, this thing is great.

Just took this guy down off the shelf to play with. My favorite bit of engineering is how the tail and head swap places while still allowing for a waist joint.

I actually got this guy when he first came out. He's pretty damn good, incredibly simple for what he pulls off. But due to the size and heft he's kind of a chore to handle. And the small mace doesn't fit in his hand. I guess that's something that they fixed with the later releases like this one, along with some tolerances.

That’s my favorite Grimlock in my collection. GCreation knocked it out of the park with this one.
I bought this figure off of ShowZ on sale some time ago, and it’s one of the few “perfect” figures in my opinion. Absolutely spectacular
This came up randomly in my recommendations and dear fucking god am I glad it did! As a huge dinosaur nerd, this guy is practically screaming at me to buy it.😅

This looks like a big upgrade to AoE Leader Grimlock with a touch of SS. AoE Grim was one of my most nostalgic toys and man, would love to buy this one
I still think my favorite version of this figure is the much larger black mamba version that is essentially a oversized retool and upgraded version of the studio series because I like my figures big. With integrated weapons storage. As far as I'm aware the Black Mamba version is still only 80 or 90 bucks

It's also on sale on Bombusbee, possibly for even cheaper (depending on where you live). They ship by sea to the US so it will likely take longer to ship than TFSafari(assuming it's by air there). So glad to have him. I haven't transformed him yet because I love me a T-Rex.

Amazing for a 3rd party release. Great/size/accessories/value for the price this one rings up. The small Prime is also very nicely done and a fun accessory. I think it would be hilarious if this guy was released in purple green for a nightmare fuel rendition of Barney. The proportions are there in dino mode considering how big the head is.

I wanted to get this guy years ago when it first came out. However, the 279 usd price point and underwhelming scaling made me rethink that decision. If this guy was the size of Black Mamba Grimlock, then it would have been an easy yes. But it's not, so it's cool for what it is as a standalone figure.

I like the look of the gc one but I personally went with the black mamba because it scaled with my scorn from them and he looks a bit better in robot mode which i value more since i display my figure in robot mode

G creation is pretty underrated! You should check out their take on IDW optimus 2.0 aka ultra maxmass. Emgo said its the definition of tab the figure

This grimlock is beautiful and for movie scale its not bad it scales well with a voyager. But I still find it too big.
My main problem with it is that the tail feels kinda short, but that seems to be the case with most grimlock figures.
Will you be getting studio series 102, 106, 105 and gamer edition megatron and cliffjumper?
The cliff jumper is just a repaint of the bumblebee wfc figure which he reviewed

You should see if tfsafari will send you a copy of Zeta toys Unicron AKA Studio cell. A figure far more affordable Superior and enjoyable to the haslab Unicron

Man, be careful with the Mini Optimus, it's fragile compared to Grimlock, mine's hand fell down two weeks later, and I didn't even touch it.
That took me a whooping 3 min to get the jazz splitting in 2 like Optimus joke 😂
