Very nice. I use 4 of the same batteries that I put under the floor. If people want to know where to get them go to any home depo or lowes and get emergency exit light batteries. I dont have specific lights. I do have a power distribution center with plugs and jacks ect with a fan/condenser for cooling. I use a 45 watt suitcase solar to keep it charged.
Hi..I have a mini-mate. I use two solar generators for my camper. A 26000 mAH with an 18 watt panel..and a 40800 mAH with a 100 watt panel. The smaller one runs the lights in the camper...it powers up to three lights,,but one does ok...it will power if for over 20 hrs...the Larger one if for other electronics..drone, tablet, phone etc.
I just ordered this kit from “ Ice Hole Power”. I bought my own speakers and Bluetooth amp from Amazon. I also bought my own SAE connector and will be installing it similar to yours. Since the cigarette lighter style socket is for the most part phased out, I bought a two port USB charger 3.0 amps to replace it. I will not be installing a second fuse for the charger, as the primary path to the battery is already fused. It would be redundant to install a second one. I see how you wired the SAE on your box and yes, I agree with your decision to install the second fuse. I purchased two 12 AH AGM SLA batteries but have my own 18 gauge wires, flag connectors and crimpers. I think I am all set. Good video,
Great! I've really liked mine and it has held up very well. In fact, we had a power outage here at home last week and I grabbed it from the garage quick so we could use the flash light and charge the phones up. I stayed with the cigarette socket since we have the air mattress pump with a plug back up to the battery, but I agree, it doesn't get much use.

I don't have links for Amazon, but search Ice Hole Power Boxes online. You can support a small business guy with purchasing either a completed box, or the DIY kit and assemble it yourself. I did the DIY kit with standard 12V lead acid batteries as I don't need the expense and power of lithium right now.
Do you still love your mini mate ? I'm really diggin these little campers but i don't know if i can make myself spend that much money for a tent on wheels
Yes, it is a nice camper that is easy to tow, setup, and handle with the bike, 1 or 2 up. Watch around online for them to popup for sale. There are motorcycle camping forums on Facebook and Online where people post these along with Bunkhouse, Timeouts, etc. You can often find one for a good price if you are patient and keep looking, along with a little travel. I purchased this one for a great price with the Add-a-room and all for less than the base model alone, just have to keep looking.
@@terryhoats5447 So far, I've been able to use it for 4 days/nights without dropping below 12.2 V. That is for the lights in the evening, charging my phone each day after some riding, and some music sometimes. I think if I would be going on a longer trip I would either have a small solar panel, or I would get a site with electric anyway. That way I could charge the box as well as use a small electric skillet or something.

A solar plug on the power box would work great. I am using a Jackery now, but will move to this when my Jackery dies.

Be careful with lights around doorway.. mosquitoes will be attracted to any source of light.. I personally can’t wait to have this set up!🤘
