Did you know Dadi wrote this song for his daughter? It’s about how he can’t wait to watch her grow up and learn about how she thinks about him and the world. His wife also plays one of the instruments and his sister (the blonde backing singer) is also in the group. :))

I love this song. Absolutely adore it.
The world would be a better place if all fathers were like that. The lyrics really hit me in the gut as a person who did not have a happy childhood. I hope his daughter would get the same dad we see on the stage. Oh, and the staging is the cutest thing! I love their overall esthetic.
Hard same. The first time listening to it after learning the backstory, I was legit choking back a tear or two.
the music video really captures their sense of humor and the live performance really translated well onto the stage!! this is an excellent follow up to hatari imo and daði is one of my personal favorites so far!
'I love their vibe, they're so weird!' I feel like that line just encapsulates Eurovision, the contestants and the fandom as a whole! :'D

Yes, they were in the Icelandic nf before! they came 2nd to Svala in 2017 with Is This Love?, which was one of my favourite songs of that Eurovision season.

My best friend lived in Iceland for a few years, and she said the awkwardness perfectly describes her experience living in a smaller town. I grew up in the Midwest (very Scandinavian area), and the awkwardness of this video felt like every family gathering I can remember.

You need to see the live Icelandic Finals performance. It's amazing. And his voice is even better than on the recording. If he became a star like Bjork, I wouldn't be surprised. He's very talented.
