Thanks so much for this test Tharbamar.. After buying one, i ordered a second one for another system..this amplifier works so well with their cd reader Smsl PL 200 which is fantastic too.. I send the PL200 modulation via Mogami rca cables to this Raw HA1 and then to a pair of Klipsch RF7 III loudspeakers...the volume knob needs to be set on 20 only to fill the room with very analytic and dynamic beautiful music.. At only 250 € this new device is a gift..might even be sounding better than the expensive Accuphase E-4000 which i have too..!! PS : today i tried another configuration with the Smsl RawHA1..i paired it to the Wiim Ultra using the possibility of the Wiim to read music files on a usb key of 32 Go ( i could download 380 cd's on this usb key..!) I tried optical, coaxial and rca line out between the two.. For me the rca Mogami cable link is the best..plenty of gain and music power this way.. I can play with the volume of the Wiim Ultra, and the Raw HA1 volume too.. On a pair of Klipsch Cornwall IV..the transcription is like dynamite, and i can adjust the bass (+2) and the treble..thanks to the possibilities of the HA1...very happy with this system...
This appears to be SMSL's shot at becoming a major player in the budget integrated amplifier market. Amazon has it on sale for $212.00 USD. A great little system could be put together starting with this Integrated and the WiiM Ultra Streamer. Now @ $263.00 USD. Add in the highly regarded ELAC Debut 3.0 DB63-BK Bookshelf Speakers @ $450.00 USD and the Veri-Fi Audio 10" 'Caldera' Subwoofer @ $199.00 USD and you'd have a complete budget 'audiophile' system. Arguably, the WiiM's weak point is its DAC, which sacrifices musicality for resolution, just the opposite of the Cirrus Logic DAC chip. Having both allows for the owner to choose which best fits their preference. IMO, besides its OS, the WiiM's strongest features are its room correction working together with its parametric EQ and the WiiM's high/low pass capability. Budget hifi has truly entered a 'golden age'.

@ Not better but it’ll be different, Better sound comes from synergy with paring speakers and other components like DAC or CD players and most importantly personal taste.

how it can be compared with Yamaha 1000? it can produce only a fraction of power what Yamaha can produce. I understand everything is subjective, but if you don't like Yamaha 1000, doesn't mean this one is better or smth like that. for me even Yamaha AS 301 sounds much better then this one, especially on high volumes when this little device just struggles
@@Tharbamar the mentioned a300 had one. rsl's IA255.1 has it. Not sure about pricing on this last one but should be around the reviewed unit's. DAYTON AUDIO DTA-100ST also has one and is around this price Doesn't seem like an expensive feature to have really.
As I always state clearly everything is based on price and performance. Another thing is it’s worth every Penny or more for sound that I’m hearing. If I give you blind audition with $4k (over price) amp and this one, probably you may end up preferring entry level HA-1.
Do not equate something that is "cheap" as bad. Something expensive is not necessarily as good. Listen and decide. Like he said, do a blind test and decide if it is possible.

How is this better than ao300 from smsl or a40 from loxjie. Seems like the exact same unit with same specs from same company, only different looks.
It`s not better. It `s the same. I use loxjie a40. Advantage of an extra Phono in and a remote control

Hi, are we talking about price to sound quality ratio? much better than phrase is also what you are paring it with them and do you level match etc.,
The subwoofer output is useless, it has no high-pass filter. The older A300 has it very usefull

@@JoseFerreira-zb7wh the HPF on A300 is useless, the sub out on A300 itself is pretty much useless to begin with, very very weak signal
A good system with good speakers don't need subwoofer. Never.

I think that there is a sound test comparison on another channel and it sounds seriously rolled off in the highs!!!!
