Glad you were able to secure a Fantasy Springs Hotel reservation. I couldn't get that but was at least able to get a Vacation Package for the week after opening. Way too much money but it'll at least make things far less stressful. Thanks for the heads up!

@@8bitthemeparkI managed to book the miracosta for 3 nights in July. Do you think that with the 15 minute entry to Disney sea miracosta guests will be able to get into fantasy springs easily? I couldn’t get the fantasy springs hotel so I’m a bit worried 😅
@@stasiatheo Yep you’ll be fine! You’ll be in before the normal park guests so you shod have no problem getting a standby pass and one or more DPAs. Just remember even though it’s 15 minutes early entry you probably still want to get there at least an hour before so that you’re not at the back of the hotel guests. Have an amazing time!!

I really love that they have a theme song for Fantasy Springs. It's such a nice throwback to og DisneySea. I'm still really curious who the "Duchess" is going to be. There's no other information about her other than the fact she owns the hotel. Will she be a new S.E.A. member? Maybe she'll reside in the Grand Chateau's penthouse? Walk-around meet and greets? I know it's really unlikely, but I'm still really hoping there could be some live performers in Fantasy Springs. It would feel much more alive. Same thing could be said for DisneySea though.
I was so excited when I realised it had a song! I totally agree! Wait, where did you read about the ‘Duchess’? News to me, but tying the hotel into the S.E.A. would be a nice way of making it feel more attached to the rest of the park.
Live performers would turn it from excellent to best ever, but I highly doubt it. The crowds will already be crazy so I don’t think we can handle performers being in there too…. Hopefully I’m wrong!

The Story of Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Hotel®
Once upon a time, in a land far away, there was a magical spring where a sprit lived. While the spirit fed beautiful gardens, she was curious and flowed great distances where she encountered enchanted stories.
Upon returning home, the spirit used her powers to sculpt stone, branch and bank into intricate shapes resembling those she met. As she bubbled and sparkled in pools, fountains, and waterfalls, the spirit often sang melodies discovered on her many journeys.
One day a Duchess, who loved travel and adventure, discovered the beauty of the springs. Wandering along the rivers and streams of the springs, the Duchess found herself transported to magical places.
The Duchess loved the enchanted springs so much that she built a little summer home nearby.
As more of her friends visited, the Duchess built a grand palace to host them all.
Even today, should you follow the water flowing from the springs source, you would come to fabled kingdoms found in storybook tales.
@@8bitthemepark yeah, I've been hearing about a "duchess" character since around mid to late 2021 and it's kind of surprising we still know little to nothing about her just a few months from opening

You mentioned fairy tinkerbell ride is almost confirmed to be trackless, but at 14:26 you can see the track of the ride, which is not trackless. Would have been cool though!

That definitely does look like a track doesn’t it, I think you’re right! I guess by ‘unpredictable movements’ they just mean the turning of the vehicles. Maybe they’ll have some other motion too like the Winnie the Pooh rides in the other parks. Well spotted!

Thanks great video! I’m not fussed about an ever present Rapunzel in a tower, as when you go on The Frozen or Peter Pan rides you see those characters, however they are also able to be met in person at Disneyworld simultaneously.. it’s not an issue really.

This land is going to be insane! It certainly has it's flaws, but I'm so excited to see what it's like once it's open... at least virtually anyways haha.

I have same concerns with rapunzel’s tower😅😅. Tbh I was expecting a real face character will apper from the tower and wave or greet guest from the tower or even let down her hair...and then I saw the video😢😢😢
Ooh that would be wonderful! I spoke on my podcast (Land of the Rising Fun) about how I wish we could have entered the tower and climbed up there, maybe as part of the ride queue, but oh well.

@@8bitthemepark if you look closely at some of the angles in the promo video, you'll be able to make out maximus opposite the side of the tower. I wasn't able to find Flynn Ryder though.

I believe Rapunzel is suppose to an Audio-Animatronic. If you look at some of the footage, Flynn Rider is viewing along with Maximus the Horse (sniffing for Flynn Rider).
But you're right that it seems odd if she will be visible through out the land like that.

Or to fork out for a vacation package, yeah. I did a whole video about it but the next best thing would be staying at the Miracosta. That way you can enter the park 15 minutes early so you’re basically guaranteed to be able to get standby passes and DPA

1) is fantasy spring in DisneyLand or DisneySea ?
2) I saw lots of people entering there , are they the media ? Cause as far as I heard it’s only officially open on 6 June and I’m going back to my homeland on 3 June 😢
The rapunzel is facing the ride. Also, I think the tower’s perspective is priority for the attraction view because the river is lower than the road and guests will be sitting. So the tower may looks way taller.
The land is connected with Arabian coast which is also a fake coast built by genie. So the story kind of acceptable
I can’t wait to see the queues. Hope they change the rules of entering the land in the future.
It’s great if it looks good from the ride, but as it’s highly visible off ride it definitely needs to look good for those walking by too. To be honest I think the camera angles were really not doing it justice and it’s gonna look great in person.

this is no related to the video but what is the best way to learn Japanese, I am headed to the parks in summer of 2025. I would love to learn the language or at least the basics before I go to Japan!

I think so yeah. I would guess that if you have a standby pass you could still buy a DPA for the same ride, you’ll definitely be able to buy one for a different ride

Do you have any tips for people who go to TDS on their own? My friends don't like Disney parks so I'll be going there solo. Any advantages/disadvantages for solo visitors? Any things you can recommend for a single rider? Thanks so much in advance :)

You’re asking the right person as I’ve been there alone probably a hundred times haha!
I love going on my own, you can go at your own pace, you don’t have to compromise or try to placate anyone else, you can just do what you wanna do. Indiana Jones and Raging Spirits have single rider, buy DPA for Journey, tower, Toy Story and soaring if those interest you, spend time just wandering around the park and have an amazing time! DisneySea is so detailed and you appreciate so much more of those details when you’re there on your own with no distractions.
@@8bitthemepark Thank you so much for your answer! I was wondering if they had single rider like in Paris. Shame they only have two, but I’ll definitely make use of them. I’m actually looking forward to seeing everything on my own time :) Maybe you should do a video about the joys of going on your own. I’m sure a lot of people might be intimidated by the thought of going solo.

The ride system for Peter Pan was created specifically for this attraction, so don’t expect anything we’ve ever seen before :)
Not sure that has been confirmed? I was hoping for a suspended vehicle but who knows. Can’t wait to find out in 3 months though! 🤩
I personally think this should have been a Disneyland side expansion entering through toontown. The Disney Sea Port of call idea does not work here.
You’re probably right thematically, but DisneySea desperately needed some high capacity family rides and that’s exactly what it’s getting.
Side note: Tokyo Disneyland needs more thrilling rides and that’s what they’re getting too which kinda rocks!
I hope they based the Peter Pan land on the original animated movie and not the live-action one that bombed.
