After a couple of failed tries to build a light house based on real lighthouses i found on pictures online, I got frustrated and went looking for lighthouses already build. That's what brought me here and though I did the detailing different to my own liking (more cosy cosy) I followed this tutorial. Thank you for the great idea! 😁

I made this on my world next to my docks, I really wanted a lighthouse and I tried making a few offhand but they looked a bit stupid, but I found the perfect lighthouse. You earned a sub, the tutorial was good and easy to follow as well. Thank you.
This took me so long to build, I made mine out of wool and I was too excited/impatient to gather all the resources before starting and just built it up as I collected the wool. I love it so much! Thank you :)
I made a nice building inspiring on this lighthouse. But, just a tip for the creator, if you want to gain subs, you shouldn't insult those who may choose between sub or not when come first time at your channel, specially at the very first seconds of the vid

Me too! Just finished my survival one, only thing I did different was use observers to make the red stone lamps move in rotation. So much stone, and so much glow stone 😂

If you make the top a bit different you can actually make it light at night and turn off at day. Just need a day light censor and couple of redstone componets
That's actually possible. I tested a few possibilities with a friend. If i have time i may make an update video on it but idk when i can make ot happen. Also ty for letting others know
this tutorial is poorly streamlined for survival but still a great build. annoying to have to go back every few mins and build up pillars to add something on a layer you already finished but totally worth it in the end
so im basically just using this to cover up a hole im digging for my cave and strip mining. everything is being based on coastal things like this. it stands out from the green trees and looks amazing. thx edit: had to use wool bc i dont have anything to make concrete

personally u are not showing everything that u are doing when it got to 5:21 u didnt show how to only have 1 corner and i got really messed up with that overall good vid tho
A couple things to note before you build in survival: The amounts he used are wrong a lot of the time so make more than he listed. Also be sure to use half slabs for floors, not full planks or there will be inaccessible rooms. Watch the video to the end before you start building because he does things out of order, and while you have a dirt pillar in one spot it’s nice to do everything in that spot then and not have to come back later. Quite a bit wrong with this tutorial but I like the build a lot. The wonky ways he did some stuff made me facepalm. I made a modified version of this in survival and it took me about 5 hours including resource gathering time. All in all worth the build, looks great
I did this buit and spent about 30 min and the lighthouse is beautiful. I only wish you would include the number of blocks needed and not just the block :D Also a little hassle to build in survival but super fun.

The build is good in my survival world, but it’s a bit annoying to have to nerd-pole ever 10 seconds to get back to a spot to add some small detail after it was supposed to be done. One example is at 8:15, when he goes back to add stairs. Good build tho
A few life lessons for you: - You won't get very far in life if you insult your audience (customers) with things like "dumb dumbs". - Don't rush. People prefer to see you do it right than fast. Try to relax when recording and slow down to avoid constantly misplacing blocks during your tutorial.

That sounds very coool!! I haven't used a texture pack. It's just the SEUS RENEWED shaders with the default texture pack

hey, how should i go about building this on a floating island? like, how much of a space would i need?
it would look great on a floating island, just make sure you have enough space for the base of it and like some extra space to add trees etc

Theres a way to place observers under the redstone lamps to make them oscilate like a real lighthouse.
