- I was invited out to come film the La Torretta Hotel and Resort in Conroe Texas with my Drone (Dji Mavic pro).
It looks like it would make for a nice little get away by the water!
I hope to bring the family one of these days and film some on ground fun as well. This is filmed with 550 firmware (prior to me upgrading to 600). More videos showing the different firmware in the works.

i did some testing with the new firmware and so far i think i might be drunken horizon free.

Thanks a ton pete, one of my favorites is still the mavic catching that fire (controlled burn) i wish i was better with the camera settings then.

Not wanting to spark a row, but I understood what it was from the title by the way & gave it a like. This is great footage. I think it would be cool to see some daytime shots as well with the sun shining bright -- but the sunset is great!
I agree man, i think if i could cut to some people in the pool having a blast, maybe some paddle boarding or jet skiing as well that would be a killer mix.
still stumped i got a thumbs down. i make all those goofy videos and i get thumbs up. make a plane drone footage video and bamm. ha ha.
i am gonna do some give aways in the next few weeks i think. just gotta figure out how i am gonna do it.
I wouldn't worry about whoever thumbed down. I stopped worrying about things like that a long time ago. On one of my recent video, somebody thumbed it down because "I don't have a radio voice" but I told them I didn't give a crap and it wouldn't stop me from making videos. They replied back saying "good, don't stop doing what you love" - pretty sure they changed their vote -- but you can't please everyone. :)
thanks man, i try not to let the thumbs down get to me. did you see the video i got that i fly over a small controlled burn in the middle of nowhere? so many haters on that one but it's still my favorite drone footage video i got.
How did you get the hotel to hire you to record their property?
