Mouthpiece BUZZ and Trombone Warm up with Alex Moraru - play along

I find this exercise extremely helpful as a "pre-instrument" warm-up.
We do the buzzing to freely blow some air through and also focus and clean up the "buzz/sound", and then we do the instrument warm-up to start accommodating with the "trombone feel". However, I do believe that there is one more step between the BUZZ and the INSTRUMENT, and that is an exercise that is intermittently between Mouthpiece and the Instrument. This is to use the air in the instrument the same way we do in the mouthpiece.
Most of the time, the instrument does sound with little air also, while the mouthpiece doesn't. This exercise is to get a clear "feel" of playing the instrument as we play the mouthpiece; that means with LOTS OF AIR.

I find it quite difficult to maintain the routine day after day after day but playing them along with you it's as though I have company which makes it much easier and the way you look into the camera encouragingly really helps me to feel that you're doing it with me which makes it easier to stick to it.. 👏
