My wife and I have two beds in separate rooms. Sometimes we sleep in the same bed, but sometimes it's like "I am so tired and just want to spread my whole self over this whole bed and asleep like a log. Could you sleep over there, please?"
Been with my husband for 19 years. We sleep in separate rooms because we are just not sleep compatible, we have some shared hobbies and some separate hobbies. It's great having a partner who cherishes their alone as much as I do.
If your day is genuinely ruined cuz you had to drink one drink you like instead of another you like in an effort to do something nice for your significant other... I mean, I don't think I need to tell you how that reflects on you.
@AshleyFromTX I think the idea here is that it can be bad to have a relationship built on an expectation of consistent unreciprocated niceties rather than people advocating for themselves or taking turns. They similarly commented that one woman in another video shouldn’t pretend she wasn’t hungry to give her BF more food (an actually worrisome behavior IMO).
Yep me too🤦♀️🤣🤣 The thing is, when I go out & have a song in my head, before long I start singing it out loud without realising. It's either going to be a good day or I'll get arrested🤣🤣🤣
I've been in a relationship for 29 years , I love him dearly. The best thing I did for A and I was get a lovely new bed for myself. I thought I had insomnia for 27 years, I now sleep like a baby.
Heads up, I used to always get butterflies and strong feelings for the bad relationships. Stability felt like less excitement and intrigue but more care.
I love how my daughter (who's only 4) and I have formed this little tradition and we watch y'alls videos together and have a good laugh. When things get dirty or weird I just explain how that's a bad word or we don't do that but it's okay to have a laugh. That is until today. 😂 She was going too HARD to that tinder song Toni created. And I had to pause it and send her away. 😂😂😂 She's mad because I made her quit dancing to the song. She keeps asking what that word means. That's one of the words I'd rather not explain yet lol.
Toni we have obviously judged you to be awesome and everyday more people discover how awesome you are and how together with Ryan you just SEND your podcast into the stratosphere!!!
Hubby and I have our own separate rooms. He has fibromyalgia which makes it very hard for him to sleep unless he is by himself. I am a light sleeper and I snore. We would drive each other crazy if we slept in the same room, let alone the same bed. I hated how so many people would treat us like our relationship was falling apart by not being in the same bed, but it's really the thing that's made our relationship great!
Genuinely feel so sorry for the person in the skit, even if they haven't gone through it someone has and someone has suffered being afraid and confused when good normal things happen. Relatively recently I learned all the unhealthy mental shit I'd been pushed or coerced into believing as a child which caused me to have little to no self-worth and how healthy boundaries and assertiveness from an earl age is healthy, normal and safe!! But nope. So yeah it's heartbreaking to realise that not just about someone else but about yourself as well. Scary.
If I ever get remarried I'm definitely putting this in the contract. It's the one practical do-over that became so obvious to me halfway through the last relationship.
My ex started sleeping in the other bedroom saying it was because of his shift work & couldn't sleep or didn't want to wake me. Then he started accusing me of having an affair!! Turns out he was having the affair & he left me! I found out off a friend of the woman he left me for, he'd told her (the other woman) that although we were in the same house we were separated!! He told me when he started the affair that he was suffering from ED & was embarrassed!! That was 3 years ago & he's since left the other woman for another woman🤷♀️ I'd been with him 12 years & the last 3 years he slept in the other room. Having said all that, you can't beat having the bed to yourself😂
I can't imagine sleeping without my husband. We love cuddle so much and I guess we are both deep sleepers so we don't torture each other at night. Honestly it feels so amazing every time you get cuddled by the person who loves you the most in the world first thing in the morning. Sometimes we hold hands while falling asleep, sometimes we don't. But to us, having sleepovers every night is one of the best parts of being married.
My boyfriend and I too. He's sleep disordered, so I sleep with the dogs and he can have it quiet and with as little disturbance as possible. And even if he wasn't, our schedules don't align. It's just better for everyone's life. We can cuddle before I go to sleep and in the mornings.
8:57 The irony of Ryan talking about his grammar being corrected on Tinder while saying "the amount of times" is not lost on me. Yes, this is why I'm single!
@@tristeangelo No, it's a countable thing therefore using "number" is grammatically correct. "Amount" is used for things like "What amount of flour do I use when baking this cake?"
If you have 3 toilets, surely you have enough room to put 3 beds lmao. One for sleeping together, and the other 2 in their own personal rooms. Best of both worlds. Wanna cuddle for a week? Sleep in the big bed, want a really good sleep? Sleep in seperate ones. I personally think seperate bedrooms are the key to a long marriage lmao.
@tarakennedy2512 mine too. They didn't when my siblings and I were younger, but once I moved my upstairs bedroom into downstairs, my mom made my old room a guest room but really it became hers. My dad snores like a freight train, and tosses like crazy. My heart breaks thinking of all the sleepless nights my mom had when we were growing up. She got up at 6am every morning to get us kids fed, and ready for school, took us to school, then herself to work till 7pm, picked us up, fed us, bathed us etc for years on as little as 4hrs sleep a night. And she worked a demanding job. People think it's bad or means there's no love if people sleep apart, but really people used to sleep apart and only started together to save money and space! If both people have their own rooms they can still sleep together whenever they want, which people also seem to not get. And if there isn't enough room for seperate bedrooms, heck 2 seperate beds in the same room would be ok too! Sleep is so, so important. We seems to not bat an eye at a man's "man cave" or a woman's "craft room" etc, but heaven forbid people want to also have a good night's rest lol. Id also like to add I am an incredibly snuggly person, love to cuddle. Still prefer my man have a room of his own all for himself and me too.
@AlphaFemmeXtine that would be the dream! Even if it had a door inside or heck the living rooms wall was open to one another. I personally think it's selfish to think your partner should love your home esthetic choices. Traditionally it's the woman gets to decorate the home and the men get the basement for the man cave lol. You always hear woman complain about the look of "bachelors" homes, but never think of how men feel in homes that are super girly etc. Its cool if you find someone who likes the exact style as you but having your own personal spaces I think is what keeps a relationship/marriage strong!
I also hate dating apps. But I also hate clubs. I don't drink alcohol. So all the "socially acceptable" places to hit on people are out for me... 😅😂 I do want to find love...
I swear my my weight blanket. For about 5 years now I haven’t slept underneath a quilt. I’m married and I’d rather have my blanket than sleep next to a human radiator 😂😂
I swear by trying one out for a few months. I did, and it basically cured me of fidgeting in bed, leading to falling asleep so much faster. It got too hot once summer came around, so I stopped using it, but the fidgeting didn't come back, so I never bothered with the weighted blanket again.

I was with my friend once and we both got fast food from somewhere new. I was so miserable eating my food that he switched with me... he told me I looked pathetic eating my chicken wings... so he gave me his pizza and took my chicken wings... he didn't mind them, I thought they were disgusting, and I love chicken wings.
people calling goggles dorky isn't new sadly. I wear them, and as a gay man have been told i'm completely undatable for wearing them. little do they know i'm a scuba diver, their loss
My partner and I have been together for 17 years. We shared a bed for the first 2 years of our relationship and nearly killed each other. Happily married for over a decade now that we sleep in separate beds. Don't fuck with sleep.
Did Toni just drop the hit of the summer 😂
someone's gotta mix this! LMP!
Absolutely she has
she sure did! Billboard Hot 100, here we go! or whatever is popular in music charts in that country. LOL
Some radio stations might have a problem with that though

Eternally single but that’s the only way I could do it 😂😂

Extreme high key loving the Toni-Ryan-Sophie moments.
Seeing the ‘girl who’s never been in a healthy relationship’ one made me realise that I’ve never been in one either 😔
Stay strong!
I feel like it applies to platonic relationships too 😆 not saying I don't have good friends now but the sentiment remains
Heads up, I used to always get butterflies and strong feelings for the bad relationships. Stability felt like less excitement and intrigue but more care.
4:38 If that song isn't trending on TikTok, then it deserves the ban.

Me forgetting it's summer in Australia xD and being so confused for a second and then getting it. Haha.
