Tbh I think it's because she never crosses the line. Okay, yes, MTW is edited, but she has been on The Last Leg, which is live, several times. Whilst she's said some things that are quite rude, she's never said anything the normal person could get offended at.
It's coz she's disabled. Can't argue against her.
So why should she get special treatment just because she has disabilities so where's equality now or is it just desperately tilted equality

Yes, a few laughs but nothing really funny or controversial. Anyone who doesn't know what I mean, look for the "too hot for TV" and outtakes from earlier in the series... It is really sad what happened to the show.
Plus in this short under 6 minute clip you can see the BBC editors have ensured they met diversity criteria on class, race, age, gender, sexuality and disability. Worst of all, they were lazy with their selection of clips here as these were far from the funniest of their content but ensured it flowed a bit better. Having a good selection of guests is of course important for each episode but compilation should be about merit.
This is before we even get into the canned laughter and how certain keywords gets laughs and applause rather than wit, comedic timing, delivery, punchline or setup etc. The Deliveroo one was unexpected. Usually it is anything said about boris or trump.

I wonder a little if there is some script they work to or maybe they are all just brilliantly quick witted.
They're definitely given topics or at least a general idea ahead of time. It takes some of the "magic" out of it, but it would also be asking a little much for them to come up with a half hour of quality TV show *strictly* off the cuff. But they still riff off each others jokes, like Hugh with his "Jedi for the Straight Guy" line. You can see it here when Tom Allen does his Wookie joke before the Star Wars topic even comes up.
They are given the things ahead so they can write some jokes ahead of time (you can sometimes see they have pens and paper and sometimes notes written on their hands) but to still the comedic timing and the riffing is a Talent

Miss the days with frankie Boyle and Ed bryne
Ed Byrne was on 6 of the 11 non-compilation episodes last series. I love his style and what he brings to the show, but unless you just mean to say you miss the show because of him, I'm not sure what you mean.
Ed Byrne is still very much a regular guest on MTW if I'm not mistaken, he was on Series 19 which aired late last year. Frankie is done with MTW, but he is savage on his new shows and albums, he even has a book out now. On British politics, but hey.

I can't remember any MTW video that doesn't have at least one person complaining about this. No one's forcing you to watch it, just give it up if you think it's so awful. You literally had to search it out and click on it and watch it. So just don't do that, and you'll be happier with less effort. Win win.

The loved this show before it became about pleasing soft people and agendas, when it was about the jokes it was the best panel show I've ever seen
