Mock the Week is a British topical, satirical celebrity panel show, that was created by Dan Patterson and Mark Leveson. - Приколы
James Acaster apologies for not saying hello...
Alex Horne : AM I A JOKE TO YOU????
Ha, I hadn't even thought of that.
I’d love a compilation of every instance of fraternal banter between Dara and Ed. That banana-throw was so jarring but so hilarious, only Ed could pull that off.
That was the best one of this whole video. It was Dara's reaction that really made it.
"are you or are you not staying in my house this weekend?" 😂
The harp story was one of the greatest
Et tu Paddy?
The moment like once a series where those two just make each other laugh like morons is always the best
Russel Howard is the perfect time capsule of 00´s young male fashion.
he wasnt on trend, he just WAS the trend lol
There's comedic value to be had in simply cutting from Young Dara to Old Dara and vice versa
Wait, was Dara ever young? I thought he was a fixed in time uncle XD
Old John Oliver too 😂😂
To this day I think Dara and Ed need a podcast where they just tell drunk house party stories.
Hugh's Bond line - this organization does not tolerate failure - classic timing
Now we know how he got the part in No Time To Die.
Organisation*
The fact that Frankie had two of the funniest ever jokes on the same question shows just how good he was.
@Will Stubbs yeah, that shit is the best panel show jokes I’ve ever seen. I watch a lot of this nonsense but when I first heard those two jokes I was crying with laughter.
Was being the operative word!
@@SunshineSuperstar couldn’t agree more. The bloke really went away from what made him hilarious. Irreverence and sillyness. He takes himself way too seriously these days as some kind if political commentator. He should stick to sex jokes haha
15:44 - two Irish comedians do the most English comedy skit ever televised
The arc of the banana flying into the screen and hitting Dara on the face was perfection 😂😂
"Just poor, weak Hugh." will never not be funny to me.
Lol exactly what got me and made me look for this comment to like.
Hugh immediately playing along is immense. You see him take that subservient posture nearly instantaneously. What a legend.
It was already hilarious with Mile's dictator toppling comments then Hugh just took it to another level :)
Poor weak raptor Hugh.
“I thought you were terrific magnificent on the megabus suh.”
For me, the highlight is Hugh’s leering way of saying “sticky back plastic” and his disapproving face right after. The equivalent of joke whiplash, and it’s perfect
Unfortunately we're down to only one bald comedian. We must protect him and shine him.
_More lacquer little boy....._
Jimmy almost joined him for a while but then he got a new hair at the lego store
That or start shaving the others.
Ed throwing a Banana at Dara will never be not funny. 🤣
Ed gives me David Tennant vibes, and his friendship with Dara reminds me of David Tennant and Michael Sheen.
'The swarthy Greek lady...!' cracks me up every time.
"I think you're terrific on the megabus sir" It's funny though because megabus don't use that mascot anymore
It's very interesting to see the round formats they explored on early series that haven't made it through to the present day.
And its astounding, the murderers' row of talent this show has attracted over the years!
15:45 it is impossible to not like Ed Byrne
Funny you should say that... I couldn't stand him for years, but I can't for the life of me remember why, because I really like him now.
I'm glad he grew his hair out from there though, he looked like a dinner lady.
Hugh's raptor walk: legendary.
It's okay, BBC. You can let Frankie Boyle out of your basement dungeon. We need someone like him again. Honest.
He has his own show on the BBC now called New World Order, where he jokes about the weeks' news, with weekly guests.
Last I heard he is super left wing and toned down the comedy to just dry dead pan stare at the camera and groan type stuff
@@potato3996 if you have lost your sense of humour it might look like that. But if you really want to see someone who isn’t funny anymore watch the new Chappelle
I totally agree. The last couple of seasons have been crap without him, Russell and Andy.
@@potato3996 Comedy's been better than ever, you're just a right-wing snowflake lol
Hugh knows his value, he knows Dara won’t get rid of him because if he does the young comedians will take over the show
Frankie's stand up about Scotland, Mel Gibson and then the gentleman he saw, too hilarious... Russell was always like the teenager. Lol Great upload!!
12:10 Russell genuinely looks like a live action Cornholio
ARE YOU THREATING ME?
I enjoyed Jo Brand's response to Andy's "Miss Fat Ankles" - lovely bit of comic business there.
My favorite , so underrated & hilarious 😂 8:03
Of all the people to mention not saying hello, it had to be James Acaster, who constantly avoided saying hello to Alex on Taskmaster.
12:00 Russell Howard as Beavis as The Great Cornholio. "Are you threatening me???"
Young Ed Byrne with contact lenses - adorable!! Plus, that cagoule IS a great look for Russell!!
I wish they never edited the programme, I'd happily watch all the shenanigans that go on!
This panel is full of comedic genius
Look how far John Oliver has come since then!
Who? You mean the Greek lady?
Married to a murderer and shite comedy. What a waste.
Frankie Boyle and the three settings of the most powerful vibrator! Each time I hear it, part of me collapses.
Maybe you should turn the settings down?
@@LHyoutube 🤣🤣🤣👏That's so good! Thank you.
@@1969Kismet - You're most welcome! I hope things recover for you 'down there' soon 😛
The Nigerian sex tour is genius too.
Hugh: “C-BOOBIES!” 17:28 😅🤣🤣🤣
Hugh Dennis barely aged
He’s just one of those that looks 45 for about 25 years
Seen them all already, but hell I’m watching them all again anyway
I can’t believe they left out frankies queer eye joke from the points of view segment. One of the best jokes in the entire series.
Gosh, I completely forgot about the "Dara fancies Konnie Huq" bit 🤣
Isn’t she married to Charlie Brooker?
@@CricketEngland correct, I believe they were married in 2010ish
@@johannvongenerico9487 imagine being married to Charlie "unbearably sarcastic" Brooker.
That was painful to watch.
@@CricketEngland anytime I see Dara and Charlie on TV together I can't help but wonder if this ever comes up
I love outtake/blooper reels. 👍👍👍👌👌👌🤣🤣🤣
And emojis.
Yup. Love 'em. Couldn't live without 'em. 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
Interestingly I have seen half of the unseen bits already :)
They are both unseen and favorite bits.
I suggest you're not David Blunkett?
Mock the week acknowledging the existence of frankie? Impossibru
They need the clicks
He's one of the only funny people they have ever had.
The last one by frankie is gold
Love it, makes me laugh out loud.
It's one of my favorite jokes of his. It's so simple, but it's so funny.
@@GodZefir I played it to my gf the other night and she pissed herself too 😂
Dara cracks me up 😂😂😂
Was that first questioner John Oliver?
It was indeed, he was a regular on MtW in his early days
No, it was a Greek lady
Wherever frankie goes he's like the funny kid of the group, the rest of the comedians just look like children laughing at a friend rather than comedians in their own right.
Frankie & Hugh though, what a fucking hilarious pair of geezers , the sad thing is they had no idea what was gonna happen down the road and that these shows would be comedy gold never to be surpassed , fucking devastating
Stunning.
Going to miss Mock the week ☹️
Jo Brand! Tiptoe across the stage
I miss Frankie
Still think Dara might be the funniest panel show comedian ever
And to think in the first clip where John Olivier is now his own show in the US ????
"Sponsored by Powergen" works on at least two levels.
They need to bring frankie back
Love mock the week can we have a new series please 💚💚
1:13 a young John Oliver appears
This show was amazing back in the day. It's been dire for years. Need to start bringing back comedians.
Hugh survived to the end
That "first" topic was probably "Explaining things to black people". I can see why THAT one didn't air on the regular broadcast.
Nice to see them so young, and funny
Seeing Russell Howard looking so young, like the douche at a college party that brought his guitar, is amazing.
The Connie bit is something I always remember
Are they still unseen bits if you have seen them 20 times on RUclips?
I love cranky 😂😂
Bloody John Oliver being bloody brilliant
14:50 surely that’s just Max Wall
That's a generationally specific reference! 😀
@@decodolly1535 it still his walk style
Do I detect a young John Oliver at 1:13????
When is the next season coming?
IIRC Russell leg issue was solved by the man with one leg.
Omg that's John Oliver!
Holy shit! It's John Oliver!
Wow. Lots of Frankie. I thought they pretended he'd never been on the show.
" And the category is.... _My Husband_ who wants to come in on that ? Jo Brand... "
no shade to all the talented writers and performers here, but the most laugh out loud moment was still just 15:43
Johnny Showbiz, the early years, in the first minute.
What happened to Gina? She was hilarious and I feel like she always bounced off everyone else so well!
Wow look at all those kids onstage.
12:06 The Great Cornholio
Young Jon Oliver, wow
Just get Frankie back. Ignore the Mail.
Too late.
Is the show not coming back?
They do this at the end of every series.
It’s still on BBC 2
Yup. I watch it whenever I can. 👍👍
@@CricketEngland Cricket is practiced in Scotland as a homosexual martial art.
They all look so young. No mother, you've not aged either...
Who throws a banana?🤣🤣
Gerhard fucking Schröder showing up in the Newsreel segment. I had completely forgotten for how long this show has been running...
When did they book The Great Cornholio?
@Large Moving Box No, but I got TP.
10:12 - that seems to be what happens now!
Frankie’s Bathgate joke was first done by Billy Connolly in the ‘80s
Interesting use of the word "unseen" considering that the vast majority of this has been broadcast, either as part of a regular episode or within an end of season extras compilation.
I’m comforted by the fact you expected something genuinely new.
Unseen....this week
I've been listening to the Arsenal podcast Handbrake Off for about a year now, and today was the first time I've seen Ian Stone's face
I don't know what I was expecting.
Who's the girl at 13 minutes?
Fiona Allen.
How did Beavis get on the show?
🍌
andy parsons used to steal a living on this program
That BBC joke should have been "BooBieCee" not "SeeBooBies"
It's a play on the kids show Cbeebies 🤦🏻♀️
Dara showed her his Peter but it wasn’t very blue.
Dara 'Uuurrgh' O'Brian
Funny (ish) but the show desperately needs Frankie Boyle back.
Good choice picking scenes from years ago, back when it was funny and fake laughing wasn't common. You did well doing that
BRING BACK FRANKIE
You watch this and you realize how far Frankie has fallen, it's tragic. Pray for Frankie
By having his own show?
@@yourdasellsavon9928 having your own show to pander to the Wokeists is a sign of success for you?
@@krileayn just because it’s not your cup of tea doesn’t diminish the fact he has his own show
@@krileayn I don’t agree with everything he says but he still has his moments so each to there own
@@yourdasellsavon9928 It's not about opinion, it's clearly woke nonsense he's spouting, and the irony of him being the most offensive comedian and now worrying about offending people (except white English) is telling.
Huhh?? Seen all this!!
