When it comes to styling yourself, the internet is filled with traps and toxicity that can push you to one extreme, an unhealthy extreme. I do hope that this video, my honest thoughts about personal and style in general, can help you navigate through this stylistic journey of yours.
Hope you enjoy it!

one of the things that helped me with my personal style and what i wear as ironic as it may sound was not having much money. because of that when i bought clothes i had thought about it for a very long time , i thought about every outfit that i could style that piece with what i already had in my wardrobe and every possible combination that there was. what it meant was that i was spending less money and the clothes that i did actually buy i new i would love and wear for a long time , so my take is spend less do more research on what you like u will and you will develop a great sense of style because your limiting yourself to what you can own. also try to consume as much fashion media as possible but in a passive way (don't look up "fall outfit inspo") like reading magazines online or looking at archives or youtube videos that talk about fashion. also wanted to say that this was a great video really enjoyed it!!
having some form of limitation is always good for new ideas, like you're forced to come up with new ways to dress yourself and through that you connect with your clothes way more, cuz as you said, you spend more time with them. And thanks for the support! Glad you liked it!
I can relate with this so much.
I've switched to blue jeans and black t-shirts. Makes thing simple.
sometimes things feel more personal when it's simple
The much needed truth for all. Great vid!
eyyy thanks!!!
Great video and great advice. As someone who has been interest in fashion for well over a decade now I must say what annoys me the most about the present state of fashion on social media is the constant judging, telling what to do/not to do and the crazy trend hopping. Not too long ago people from outside the "fashion community" were the ones judging and stuff and honestly thats whatever, but with that now happening within the community as a whole, it really creates a toxic space where especially young people getting into fashion are given a wrong sense about what it should be about. So - with that little rant here - I just wanted to let you know I love the message you're spreading and the advice you're giving, I hope to see more people online like you in the future :)
When the community turned fashion into style competition and style signaling, it became jarring and unwelcoming for sure. And thank you for the love man, appreciate it, more content to come!
YOURE SO RIGHT ABOUT WARDROBE ESSENTIALS. I feel like they deal in terms of absolutes like "501 levis are must haves!!!" which I don't think is very helpful
best video ive seen on personal style yet. a lot of advice these days is super prescriptive. “you have to wear this” or “you should never wear that” and it urks me a little. thank you for being the outlier 💯🙏🏿
you get it! and thanks for the support!
haha great to see how your style language translates into your content. pretty solid presentation every time
I appreciate that!
“Everything's a copy of a copy” (Fight club 1999). When you figure out the true meaning of that line life gets easier.
real
Hey mate, it's a great video. Props to you for the way you think - people really need to do things for themselves and there's no need to agree with being put down. Hope doing vids brings joy to you, I certainly enjoyed this one!
I have been getting into the grooves of making longer vids so certainly starting to enjoy more! and thanks for the love!
Personal style = certain types of clothes, colors, jewelry, sizing and combinations you gravitate towards. This includes certain items you Personally wear that others don't. Items you wear because of your lifestyle, your environment and body type.
Ex: I knew a girl who only wears crop tops. I personally wear a lot of bandanas, bombers, wind breakers, and straight fitting cloths. I've worn the same necklaces my entire life.
Having style (or even taste) = knowing how to create outfits and combitions on a level that is sometimes more that just a shirt and pants. Knowing how to layer, knowing when to cuff your clothes, coloring blocking, combining different textures etc.
you are spitting facts brother
ahhahah thankssss

glad you liked it! New vid coming out this week as well
W advice about toxic people. I post fit pics on Reddit all the time and it’s honestly exhausting how nasty people can get with their subjective opinions.
And I like what you said about essential pieces. I like to think of them more as foundational pieces. You get a nice versatile shirt, pair of pants, outer layer and bam - there are your “essentials.” It’s really just what you actually end up wearing imo.
For me, I hate AF1s. I can’t tell you why but i feel like the biggest cornball in AF1s and Jordan’s - the most “essential” streetwear shoes on the market. But I LOVE Salomon’s. So, the XT-6 is the foundational shoe in my wardrobe that I piece together a lot of my fits around. A white shoe, whatever the silhouette style is, can go a looong way.
So yeah, don’t sweat the brand or model, just find the clothes you feel good in and have fun chefing up a fit
yea but how do I get drip
