    This video was very helpful. I have a few questions, if you don't mind.
    My husband (Nigerian with ECOWAS pass) and myself (American with visa) will be touring Benin, Togo, and Ghana soon from Lagos by road.
    Since I have nowhere to store all of my luggage, will we have a hard time traveling? What would be your advice? Is the motor bike the only means to the Seme border?
    I am a bit nervous about the security area to be honest because I don't like people just going through my things like I'm a criminal 😔 they are just bring nosey that's all. Ugh.

    What happened after the Nigerian Officer asked if you were from the East, and asked you to come out of the vehicle? Secondly, why the long distance walk from the "Seme Border" to the Immigration Office for the "Stamping" of your Passport? Are vehicles not allowed or what through that long walk? What about travelling to Cotonou, and all points west by buses, like "Chisco", does one experience the same problems? Can someone fly to Cotonou from the USA?

    • @ebohmedia2459
      @ebohmedia2459  2 года назад

      When I came out from the vehicle I was asked for my passport which I gave to them after verification I had to go back to the vehicle.
      The distance walk to the immigration office is because the vehicle or moto carrying me are not worthy to pass through the immigration, vehicles are allow to pass the immigration if you have the necessary documents.
      And for your other questions, when you travel with the big transport companies like chisco, GUO, ABC etc, the experience is different, not as stressful as this.
      And yes someone can fly from Cotonou to U.S.A not 100% sure

    Me and my guys have been planning a fast road trip culminating in a week end in Ghana. Leave Friday comeback Sunday .
    But it seems driving will result in all kinds of delay and manipulation to create an avenue for extortion. Looking at it it will t as jr hours to cross the border . Something by that should be minutes.
    The checkpoints are there for one reason alone for graft and extortion, nothing else.
    What was most disturbing every government agency sets up a check point ( sorry EXTORTION point) before you actually get to the official border crossing.
    This is the gate way to the Nation. What a shambolic negative image we are creating.

    Nigeria content creators stop been negative about Nigeria. Almost every video you will see a Nigerian saying, Nigeria is bad, that alone will turn viewers off.
    You're doing a content on how to traveling to Benin Republic , what does Nigeria is bad has to do with traveling on tourism in Benin Republic?
    That is a turn off. Stuff like that should be edited out and focus on your topic. Nigeria is not the only country with problems. If you disrespect, misrepresent Nigeria people will disrespect and misrepresent you. Because Nigerians are the mirror of Nigeria. All the best with your work
