This guy can take over from David Attenborough with his voice overs. Captivating. I always marvel at the cinematography. How do they manage it. I wish it was stated somewhere.
I'm really amazed and fascinated at how these knowledge and facts were studied and found. Must took a lot of hard work effort and long time for us to learn.
It is crazy is that they aren't like that when they're just by themselves some hormonal things starts when they gather and punches like that and then they become raveness.
Nah man. Their ravenous behaviour has nothing to do with one another. They are all just after the healthy vegetation at the same time. They come depending on food not each other
These are pretty small compared to the locusts I’ve seen in the western US. Those things are huge, and can turn the sky brown/black when they swarm into the atmosphere.

They release alot of birds and poisonous snakes in the area to have a field day and then they come and tranquillize the animals from afar bc they were tagged and pick them back up all full😂

@@DuchessofEarlGrey they taste like chicken with a bit more fat. Something like that. Other people say it tastes like sardines. The taste is even better if you add a few more spices to the meal
A plague in action. Spectacular footage.
I always marvel at how they are able to capture the footage. The cinematography in wildlife docos is amazing.

They have made videos showing how they film. All the Box Sets have them, so they must be around 😁 hope you find them, it is truly an amazing insight!

Honestly I’m surprised there’s no footage of birds going after these locust swarms. They’d have the time of their lives. Like a Vegas Style Buffet! 😅
It feels spectacular looking through your lens 😳
Their videos are just masterpieces. It would require a lot of effort to have that kind of views.
@@LuckAqua The results of their hard work are great! !
Editors had a field day with the background music 🎶
Yeah. The music does add the dramatical feeling to the vid.
@@LuckAqua No he's saying its way too loud, you can barely hear the narrator
@@gitsurfer27 - Having a field day doesn't mean something is too loud or even wrong, so that's probably not what he said at all.
The power of nature comes in many forms.
Mother nature is always so different and beautiful
destruction in full action , so amazing.
This was amazing and scary to watch
Historically, when the locust ate your crops, the locusts become food in replace.
I was laughing so hard at how hard those kids were trying to protect the rice farm
Also: Every college student returning home over break to raid their parents' refrigerator.
*Their white, double wings look so beautiful! You would never guess they are a plague!*
Facinating to watch! One of the greatest migrations of animals on a relatively short distance!
The brief moment we see them walking together looks cool 0:04
aww, that was intens and terrifying....with a good end ?

It may sound weird but I feel so satisfied when watching them chew the crop.

They're quite delicious when you fried them crispy
People in Asia deep fry these things as a snack! A swarm like this could feed the entire country!
No thanks
Believe me, it's suck. The taste is not great at all. I suggest creating nets to catch them and turn them into fertilizer.
It might not taste amazing but it is definitely an abundant source of protein.
Sorry to inform adult flying locust has mild toxin. Non-locustlisation grass hoppers are safe for human consumption.
Wow 40000 tonnes devoured crops now that's really something ?
That could bring 1000 families to their knees.
