    This guy can take over from David Attenborough with his voice overs. Captivating. I always marvel at the cinematography. How do they manage it. I wish it was stated somewhere.

    The countermeasure is ducks. Running ducks have been used for locust control in China.

      Believe me, it's suck. The taste is not great at all. I suggest creating nets to catch them and turn them into fertilizer.

    These are pretty small compared to the locusts I’ve seen in the western US. Those things are huge, and can turn the sky brown/black when they swarm into the atmosphere.

    They release alot of birds and poisonous snakes in the area to have a field day and then they come and tranquillize the animals from afar bc they were tagged and pick them back up all full😂

    China uses chickens to keep locusts down. India and Africa use ducks in orchards to eat bugs.
    Maybe using these birds in breeding areas at the right time would help?

      It's very very ok to consume them. We eat them here in Zimbabwe, and they aren't that bad when it comes to taste.

      They are being eaten tho. When these locusts swarm a vegetation, some farmers have no other option but to just take the locusts for meal as their vegetation are being eaten by them.
