The map is not completely finished yet, but it looks very good so far. It would still need police, traffic and some races.
And some collision for such decorations like lamp posts and such.

I'm pleasantly surprised with how well this map works with MW 2012's handling model, it actually looks pretty smooth with brake to drift

@@artgokrew I think EA is really just doing a social experiment personally, considering the fact that the online situation in their games is all being left up to peoples consciences.
If EA were to remaster any NFS, it would probably be this one. Especially since it so similar to Hot Pursuit. They’d just have to iron some key issue from the original.

Yes, especially the way and how well Rockport was meant for drifting.
You're a freaking god for making this! Just imagine how incredible it will get with cops roaming the streets, different kinds of races that appear on the map but you have to actually drive to them to initiate them, a GPS and racers that you can challenge for an outrun .. man this will give EA a run for their money
I'm curious what news the author of this mode will come up with, but he already mentioned some on the page with the mode.
The original most wanted let you warp though? And by default, Most Wanted 2012 doens't let you to warp to races you haven't ran into.

The great thing about this is it doesn't look like a mod more like a DLC expansion pack that shows how flawless it is. The difficulty level too is up a notch as precision is highly needed. Thank you Matus.

If that once rumored "Remake" ever looked like this, preserved that perfect arcade handling model and maybe include that orgasmic sound from the '05 MW M3 GTR, it'd be like a dream coming true. Or at least if this mod ever gets completed

If they pull off this mod and remake the blacklist cars with previous Most Wanted characters and adding more blacklists, then this game will become the closest remake of Most Wanted '05 with a new city and races in both Rockport and Fairhaven cities joined together.
This looks absolutely stunning with the graphics reminiscent of MW 2012, and the seamless 'tap to brake' feature blends flawlessly with the intricate details of the map - from the lighting to the textures. Adding the element of police pursuits and destructible objects would elevate it to perfection, along with the ability to switch between cars seamlessly. A few more enhancements, and it could truly be a gaming masterpiece.

THIS. This is the remaster we needed. I can't believe how well the Frostbite engine works with the map+environment
MW 2012 was built on "Chameleon" (criterion's own engine) instead of Frostbite.

Looks like Chameleon seems pretty versatile.
This works surprisingly well. It really feels like Rockporr, but at the same time it feels like a map that was in the game since ever. It fits so well with the physics and graphics.

It looks to be using a mashup of World's and 2005's renditions of Rockport.

This is a weird mix between the NFS World map (By the Bay Bridge/Tri Cities Bridge) and OLD MW (because no tunnels or airport)

мне кажется вполне реально сделать фанатский ремейк нфс 2005 года на движок нфс 2012 года, только сделать физику менее игрушечной чтоли, не такой скользящей, и графику сделать более современной и насыщенности чуть убавить, т.к кажется будто такая яркая насыщенная графика немного не сочетается с мрачным рокпортом, напоминает простецкий скучный нфс 2012 года который мы имеем сейчас, или только мне так кажется. Вообщем думаю вместо того чтоб ждать ремейк нфс 2005 года который мы судя по всему никак не дождёмся возможно было бы собраться в какой-то коллектив энтузиастов и пытаться что-то такое сотворить, от только Electronic Arts такое наверное не понравится..
