GraphicAudio® A Movie in Your Mind® proudly releases THE WAY OF KINGS, the first of ten planned titles in New York Times Bestselling author, Brandon Sanderson’s epic fantasy series, THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVE.
Roshar is a world of stone and storms. Uncanny tempests of incredible power sweep across the rocky terrain so frequently that they have shaped ecology and civilization alike. Animals hide in shells, trees pull in branches, and grass retracts into the soilless ground. Cities are built only where the topography offers shelter.
It has been centuries since the fall of the 10 consecrated orders known as the Knights Radiant, but their Shardblades and Shardplate remain: mystical swords and suits of armor that transform ordinary men into near-invincible warriors. Wars were fought for them, and won by them. One such war rages on the Shattered Plains. There, Kaladin has been reduced to slavery. In a war that makes no sense, where 10 armies fight separately against a single foe, he struggles to save his men and to fathom the leaders who consider them expendable.
Brightlord Dalinar Kholin commands one of those other armies. Like his brother, the late king, he is fascinated by an ancient text called The Way of Kings. Troubled by visions of ancient times and the Knights Radiant, he has begun to doubt his own sanity.
Across the ocean, an untried young woman named Shallan seeks to train under an eminent scholar and notorious heretic, Dalinar's niece, Jasnah. Though she genuinely loves learning, Shallan's motives are less than pure. As she plans a daring theft, her research for Jasnah hints at secrets of the Knights Radiant and the true cause of the war.
Director Rose Supan says, “Brandon Sanderson is at the top of his game with THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVES. It's an honor to direct this story. The actors as well as our production team are thrilled to be a part of the process as well. I can proudly proclaim that the listener is in for a truly immersive experience!”

3 vs 1, Szeth be like: " Finally, an even battle. "
Not even close to an even battle, lol
Until kaladin speak the third ideal
I like seth's character
He is quite a swordsman
An even fight!?
I mean 2 simple spearman and one shardbearer only with a shardblade in comparison to what we know he did that’s easy
honestly, my favorite part of Words of Radiance was Kal being like "oh shit I can fly cant I" and just going to practice on the shattered plains
I love the unsettling in-house music that plays whenever Szeth appears in a scene. I wish I could listen to just it sometimes man.
What music? Where does it start?
Dalinar's VA is so good omg
Seems overacting a bit idk if it's that good. Although the delivery is pretty good.
Love-colored Magicó Succ Fair enough I spose, though the book itself is quite theatrical. I still get what you're saying though. At some points it's like, is this a musical, or a movie?
Then again Andy does amazing things in Oathbringer. Hopefully this guy puts up Gavilar's funeral chapter. I cry so hard at his delivery. Andy nails it.
@@sakesaurus I agree. Dalinar always seemed more reserved in my mind but it's not terrible
Hes great but hes bad when hes young dalinar in the oathbringer flashbacks.
it's good for like 2 or 3 flashbacks in oathrbinger, but I don't think it's good overall
Kalek’s breath, I cannot wait until I can buy one of these in full
Graphic audio.net man.
1:26 "Go! Protect the king-ah!"
anyone knows the track at 0:44? It’s so damn good
I wonder how much trouble szeth would be in if dalinar AND adolin were in shardplate, plus kaladin. I mean, dalinar is the blackthorn and adolin is one of the best duelists..
Szeth heals quick.
Others are earth bound.
Kal is a rookie in his powers.
szeth's voice is so pretty
'i wont let you take away the only thing i have left of him." "am i a joke to you ?" yasnah
At this point Jasnah was presumed dead. last anyone saw she had been stabbed through the heart and the boat she was on set on fire.
@@samPi3141I'm pretty sure they didn't know that yet. If I remember correctly, Shallan arrived at the Shattered Plains after the fight with Szeth. And it was her that told them about Jasnah being probably dead
epicness that can bring you to tears. Only lotr could do that to me before
WHY MUST YOU MAKE IS WAIT FOR THESE THINGS?!!!
What chapter is this?
here we go
This might be a long shot, but here it goes.
That soundtrack that starts at 1:10 ... Anyone know happens to know? (I need it for my DnD campagin.)
Found it:

@@azgonath1937 fucking thank you
@@elnet2319 You are very welcome 😉 Found several other soundtracks from GA hidden in those volumes
@@azgonath1937 ?? why did you delete the comment saying where it was
@@Fireground42 I didn’t ... or at least I didn’t intend to .. name is: "Dragon Heart - Shockwave-sound"
Time to have fun.
Where can you find full versions of these books?
pretty sure its the graphic audio version, so you should find it if you look that up :)
Audible, amazon, most audiobook websites will sell sanderson. He is fantasy right now
STORMFATHER this is a much better name than SLA B..
why did you change your name
No quarter.
This is Adolin's worst performance of all time
