Willie Neal had such a wonderful down to earth, sincere personality, excellent showmanship, great voice, energy and leadership. He is truly missed. I sing quartet gospel with Helen Smith and the Angels of Faith of Washington DC, but I never got to see Willie Neal, I really missed a great gospel singer, thank God for youtube - this a wonderful tool for keeping our legends of gospel voices alive for the next generations. I rembering when satting I’m my staircase looking thru the wooden bars as mi father lay in my mother’s arms an my mother with tears in her eyes talking to him this was an Sunday moring an I remember seeing an long bright glaze slowly move thur the curtains an this video was playing this song was an as my mother was brushing my fathers hair with flowing tears in her eyes an at the same time this bright glaze light moved from my fathers head slowly an I heard my mother speak so softly I love you Norris an as I heard my father wisper I love u Georgia that bright light slowly went from his head to his feet an I new my life wouldn’t be the same cause my father was gone an my mother broke but held him in her arms for hours crying

I read that Willie Neal Johnson had died in January 2001 at 65 years old. All the time while I was looking at all inspiring videos of him and the keynotes singing I thought he was still alive.
