Rufus isn't *_nearly_* as irritating as he was in FF7R... because he doesn't counter your normal attacks. Of course, that gameplay mechanic wouldn't fit in a (semi) turn-based game, even if only randomly so. So... a *big* drop in Rufus' threat level compared to _That One Boss_ fight from Remake.
How do you get yourself stronger? I literally deleted the game because it was too hard and I couldn't progress any further. Just want to point out I've never played Final fantasy games I watch the gameplays on RUclips so i don't know much about the combat.
@FazFaz is correct. Auto is TOO good. It times stances and abilities too well. As you progress and are more often under/equal powered for harder and harder content, you'll have more reason to directly control it all. I've had to do that a bunch yesterday or else game over. Also the costume Faz has equipped implies he's been pulling on gacha banners which is a leg up on players saving entirely up.
I downloaded this game hoping for the best but once I saw the battle system, my hopes went down lol. So boring just watching them fight, you don’t feel like you’re actually playing
