well explained, but there are ways to do this so much easier using different methods in ableton. (not that you dont know, just my two cents)

Thanks for your comment - I prefer this approach, but Ableton is super flexible and allows multiple options. How do you do it?

thanks for this video! Is there a way to write the notes of the chords in the sequencer at the same time? like for example in Reason studios "scales & chrods"?

Thanks for leaving a comment/question. You could use the channel (with the Scale or Chord MIDI devices) as an input for another MIDI channel and then simply record the output.

thanks for the vid!! Is there a way to do for example both a c major and c minor triad, could you trigger that on a keyboard cause they would both be triggered by c?

Thanks for your question! It would be possible to duplicate this device chain and then switch between device chains using a MIDI trigger.

What is the best way to program. a different chord based on the same note in a different part of the song?
    Exwmple
In the intro I wish to hear Em when E is played
In the middle of the song I wish to hear E7 when E is played?
    Thanks

I’d suggest setting up multiple chords on multiple device chains - one per chain. Then switch between the device chains using a MIDI note or CC.

@@JoelLinus That's weird that the link doesn't work. But, if you google 'electric ableton' the page comes up... strangely with the same url. So, I'm not sure what's going on there. It is definitely included in Ableton 11 Suite.
