    Fantastic end result.I love the contrast between the colourful base and Groot. It'd be great to see more pics if you end up adding moss flock.

    TOO good

    Stupid Question. - is dry brushing a powder? Or a technique of loading and applying the brush??

    • @Groundeffected
      @Groundeffected  2 года назад +1

      Not stupid at all. It’s a normal paint usually thicker than most and it’s mostly wiped off the brush so that there’s a basically dry brush left and then wiped onto the model.

  • @malykutil8469
    @malykutil8469 2 года назад +1

    what kind of brushes do you use to paint stones?

    • @Groundeffected
      @Groundeffected  2 года назад

      Same ones in the wood section of dry brushing. I use a normal watercolour type brush to put the main colours on or even air brush and then dry brush with the soft brushes

    excuse me !!! can u tell me base of statue was printed by fdm or sla ? Thanks

    • @Groundeffected
      @Groundeffected  2 года назад +1

      It’s printed in resin just a bit complicated for fdm. Could be done but the flowers would be a little tough I think.

    • @mr.culinan3583
      @mr.culinan3583 2 года назад +1

      @@Groundeffected because some part of base larger than my plate.i dont know how to print it :(

    • @Groundeffected
      @Groundeffected  2 года назад +1

      @@mr.culinan3583 damn. That sucks. You could just make the whole statue a little smaller? Or you could just cut those parts off yourself? And just glue them without keys if they’re not structural pieces?

    Wouldn't it be awesome if maybe some time in the future after you made this video and not necessarily when I made this comment that you also painted a Baby Groot planter so that everyone can paint one for their Mum?
