      Thanks for your support James! This car will be a cruiser for now! Down the road I may upgrade the top end, but for now it should be fun for the street!

      Thanks! I would have expected to see a lot more damage than just that one bearing, even the cam was fine 🤔Been working hard on getting it going I may be getting it done by the end of this weekend!

    Nice progress Luis. I was not aware of the piston ring difference. Thanks for reminding me to thaw my turkey. Not joking either 😂

      It’s an obscure fact 😂 no one really works with the sn95 302s, but now with the price of everything Foxbody going crazy I had to venture and buy one from a 94! Happy holiday week to you as well Rick 😎

      @@MrBlitzkrieg1987 oh... that's usually where that crap ends up. I like to just use a new pickup tube when that happens. Call me overly cautious... but that's how my brain tells me to think, lol.

    it's funny a familiar siight how close it's backed up to the garage.. I never showed a video of how I had to make a level platform because the garage dips in I hope it rolls out okay

    • @MrBlitzkrieg1987
      @MrBlitzkrieg1987  9 месяцев назад +1

      I have it backed up like that for the same reason! The garage floor is not perfectly even and there’s actually some holes on the concrete 😂

    The way my intake and heads turned out only a little cleaned up some of my head intakes have a sliver of metal you can see from the intake.. but reversion there isn't really a big deal and can be beneficial making the flow turbulent with the injector coming in right there... If it's significant and on all four corners then it's questionable but from what I've read at least in my situation no big deal. My garage camera is not reading SD cards so I haven't made videos and have a couple I haven't uploaded of the actual final e7s and what I did.. also I had 1262 and 1262r and ended up selling them not sure if the 1250 is the same rubber material .. the print o seal gaskets are a nice touch but for street engines you def want a steel core. I forget if 1250 is steel cores or not but rubber only will come apart and slide around afte many street driven heat cycles. When they say race like 1262R they mean it because it's for if you're doing enough engine teardowns where that gasket doesn't have to last tens of thousands of miles.. so i just used the stock gasket what enginetech provided.. put some ultimate black rtv around water holes and tacked it on with super glue gel .. i also used cork gaskets with some silicone.slathering.. not pretty but hopefully good sealing lol. I never truly checked my heads with a straight edge only used abrasion to re surface them a bit but I'm using full thickness gasket so hope they are okay.. and arp bolts lol

      @MrBlitzkrieg1987  9 месяцев назад +1

      You’re right I believe the 1250 and 1262r are basically the same material, it feels more of a thick paper gasket to me. I definitely wouldn’t run those on something I can’t easily tear down! You can get a set of ford explorer intake gaskets and that will be the same size as the 1250 and much sturdier! Im looking forward to see more of your E7 heads and your van! 😎💪
