Just for a little light relief in these crazy covid days, I watch (for the umteenth time) both Flint films back/back..... Brilliant. So cool and sophisticated.... A great actor. RIP James.
James Coburn was eminently watchable in EVERYTHING he did! He was perfect in the role of Major French in the TZ episode "The Old Man in the Cave", Sedgewick in Great Escape, Derek Flint....you name it. Hell, he was great in his guest appearances on Perry Mason!

Hollywood needs more actors like this! the "Saving Private Rayn" theme feels right! nostalgic, not sad, but greatful that i got the previledge of knowing such an icon. its because of him that i learn to love Westerns. He and guys like McQueen never really got the credit they deserved. Yes, Coburn was honored with an Oscar, but a long list actors and actresses were from their time; deserved great appreciation for their talent seen in tv and film roles. 😎
