Dogs need companions just like humans. There are some that like to be alpha and like being alone. But for the most part they need connection too. This is beautiful.
Yes, when i get a dog, I'll get another dog so he/she's not lonely.
@@Vamatt99218 We've done that & it works out beautifully. Our dogs are never lonely for companionship & a playmate. They entertain each other & do doggy things together like tug of war, chase, snuggling, & thanking us for rescuing TWO dogs so they would have each other. I highly recommend it.

It's a mutual blessing. The parents are so blessed to have these fur kids. I knew that when my Sasha passed away and my friends told me she was lucky to have me as her owner. I knew then that, I was lucky to have her. One Japanese friend told me it was good she passed away first because she wouldn't cope if I went first. I am sure my Japanese friend is right.

I did it twice...getting a dog for a dog. I was like look what I got you. I'm actually thinking about doing it again I have an 11 and 3 years old. ..I feel like that's too big of an age gap

I love that the daughter has her dog no matter what home she is at. Makes perfect sense to adapt around that lovely traveling companion situation.
This woman shouldn't have to adapt around what her boyfriend did before he met her. That's why since she was silly enough to get involved with a single papa, at least they now have a companion dog for her dog without compromising for the sake of his daughters from another woman. Her dog cares more about her than her boyfriend ever will.
She is part of him. To be with him, loving his daughter will be the deal, and that can be a beautiful thing.

@@Rachel-ul8et She is not part of him. She is his girlfriend, not even his wife. She is not the mother of his daughters. If she were his wife and mother of his child, she would be part of him. But that part of life already happened before she met him so she will never be part of him. She can only ever be a supplement to his life. She loves a man who loves her only for accepting that she must take last place in his life. It's not beautiful for a woman to be a man's convenience while she builds her entire world around him. It's sad.
@@Future_Imperfect If children from a previous relationship were the equivalent of any other type of baggage, divorced couples would not co-parent. They would simply forget about those kids and start again. But only a tiny minority do that. Most people would give their life for their own children. That's why the only baggage that ought to be a deal breaker for a childless woman is a man's brats from another woman (and vice versa for a childless man who should never get mixed up with a single mother).
Love it. People who are this connected with their dog’s needs deserve all of the love that they’re getting.

Thank you for sharing this video with the world, especially with us folks in Texas. It made me smile for a moment but I love what she said at the end of the video that people could learn a lot from dogs and how they love unconditionally. She is right, we could learn a lot from dogs.

I’m sorry y’all have to go through what you are dealing with. Please know the whole world is thinking and praying for you. Hopefully a solution is on the way. I’ve been extremely upset also and you’re right, this video did help a little.
We did the same, our Golden Retriever loved my in-laws Border Collie then we moved and they saw each other once or twice a month for a weekend, both were missing each other so much. Then the BC died of old age and our GR was looking for him everytime we went to visit. When we went to the beach and she sees a BC that looked like him she would run over to make sure. We got a BC and our GR just loves her, they are always together, its so beautiful to see. They are two beautiful dogs, I love them to bits.

Walker reminds me of my mum’s dog. When I was living at home, he and my dog became best friends and he just lights up every time I bring her back home to visit him and pulls out all his new toys to show her 😂🥰

Dogs have deep feelings/emotions. They miss their family, their pack. They bond. They know our feelings even when we try to hide them. They have the same feelings we have, but they are far better at love most often. They understand hostility. We are blessed with dogs. And btw, golden retrievers are the most beautifully natured dogs.

My nephew had two little inseparable rescues. They shared the same food bowl. One of the rescues passed, devastating the other. My nephew then showed me the food bowl they shared. It was a perfect half moon, divided PERFECTLY down the middle: one side completely empty, the other side full of food. Yes, every night the remaining dog leaves exactly half the food behind for his lost partner. Mind blowing, heart rending. And this is no put on or joke.

This is beautiful. So many humans don't realize their dogs need that bonding and friendship with other dogs. When families split it hurts the dogs just like it hurts children, but you can't explain it to them, so they're confused and lonely.
My heart aches that Walker's friend is forced to go away for weeks at a time. Dogs dont deserve to be split like that. They dont understand separation. Willow being pulled away is so awful :(
This woman has no control over her life. That's what happens when you get involved with a single papa. Willow was never going to be hers because her boyfriend is never going to be hers. His heart will always be first and foremost about his daughters from another woman. Sad that there are women willing to take leftovers while serving up the main course.

We had to put down our 14 year old Golden in March of 2020 and life has never been the same since so I'm so grateful for this heart melting experience that I will treasure 🙏❤🙏

Very nice! Good for all of you! We found out even after losing one it's always best to get the surviving one another friend even though you don't want to face the heartbreak again. We are on our 4th rescue now and wouldn't have it any other way.
