if you want so see something else with Eric and dive into (power) metal AND get a three for one ..then I would suggest Eric Grönwalls cover of "Carolus Rex" a cover of Sabaton (sings about military history) done in collab with Tommy Johansson, formal guitarist of Sabaton and singer, songwriter and guitarist in Majestica (also Power metal)

This cover is... ok,... I guess, so I gave it a "like" even though it's a pale wisp compared to the original. If you liked this cover as much as you seemed to, you would be absolutely BLOWN AWAY by the original studio version by Deep Purple, off the album "Deep Purple in Rock". [Try to find one of the recently re-mastered versions.] (Some folks prefer the BBC live version, but I prefer the studio version. Opinions differ.)

Deep Purple is a British band founded in the 60s. There's videos of them performing this song live in 1970. So the lyrics are influenced by that time.
