Sound and video quality are both great! When i was just starting out karting around June 2023, i used the Yi 4k but later switched to the insta 360 one rs around december which has been serving me quite well. Only issue i had with the camera was when i first got it and had to figure out how to reframe and edit with the 360 view so it would be good for youtube or reviewing my driving.
@@Oskar.M thanks mate, the insta 360 sounds a great cam. I heard the editing is trickier, and I don’t know what I’m doing as it is, so I didn’t want my life more complicated 🤣
Still using the Go Pro Hero 8. Still very happy with it, I record at 1440p so battery life isn't an issue. only time I've ran out is on a endurance race. Have had one clip mount break too, but considering I got a good deal on it about 2 years ago I'm no complaining. I do think GoPro's aren't the most reliable camera's though, for recording in 4k especially they have battery life/overheating issues.
Audio quality is a lot better with the mic clipped on the pocket! Plus the DJI looks a lot better than the GoPro from this vlog perspective which will almost certainly translate to on-track footage. If you're wanting to mic Jake up then I'd advise against clipping the mic to the suit as it could easily come off- instead I'd recommend a cheap lavalier mic with a 3.5mm jack wired into the helmet padding and connected to the DJI mic clipped to a shirt underneath the suit.
i use my mums old gopro hero 4. I use 1080p superwide at 50fps and the batter holds up for 4 and a half hours. Hope jake does well at warrington tonight, best of luck.
Hey mate On the comparison things I watched, basically the 360 and dji came out roughly the same on quality. Both mikes better than the go pro? Do you record in 4k? What sort of battery life you getting?
I spent a week researching them all, the insta has better battery, better night vision and the mount is so much better. I'll be uploading a video in a bit
@@PRDMotorsport the vid I watched where they ran them to flat, the dji came out on top by quite a bit 🤷🏻♂️ god knows. This says on 4k 60 it will run for 1 hour 50 recording time. Soon see when I test it.
@@PRDMotorsport this says it will do 1 hour 50 on them settings on 1 battery 🤷🏻♂️ I watched about 10-15 reviews on them all. We must of watched different videos mate 🤣🤣 Upto now I’m happy with this. I’ll check your vid out when you’ve uploaded it 😁
