I’ve been following Moses since around 2019 and his music has been a point of comfort for me. A lot can change in a matter of 3 years in a persons life and all my despite it all; your music is so special to me when I’m troubled.
This song is about how I couldn't leave my house because I had to find a way to get clean. The rest of the world didn't matter. It was supposed to be a battle with myself. Falling out teeth, which are actually in place, are the hope that everything is at stake. And when I win - I will be as handsome as before the battle. I knew God would reward me in the end and even health had to be sacrificed. Milk - this is what I was looking for, this feeling when you look for hope even in the simplest things. The hole in the bed is the evil that has consumed me this year. But the hole did not close - I came out of it the best version of myself. At the end, it can be seen that the fight took place in an ordinary house. This is the struggle of all people. There is no light in this room yet. But there is still light somewhere. It is not enough, but even this light is enough for victory.
The old me is no better than the new me. After all, the old I allowed the new. The experience of the new must help the old. Finding bugs is the result of this battle. Each person has their own battle. There is no most important battle. Every battle matters
The smell of old clothes is a reminder of how easy it once was, and this smell frightens us at first. But we dare to dance with our old selves. And this destroys milk, which cannot help us in any way. Just dance with yourself.
