On this day, 21 September, exactly 24 years ago (how time flies), Melissa Etheridge released her epic album Yes I Am. Awesome album. Ruins is one of my favorites and this live version is great. Taken from the concert video A Little Bit Of Me | Live in LA (2014).

First saw her as the opening act at Tiger Stadium for the full Eagles band, circa 1980's. Detroit rocks, but we all knew that!!! She blew us away !!!

I rediscovered this song recently and I forgot how much I love it. I saw her back in the 90s, she is so genuine and has such emotion, which is really lost in today's music. Thanks for sharing!
