This is the video I've been searching for. I have seen videos from other RUclipsrs about beards and shirt color but they didnt explain it the way you did. I really like the way you showed examples how the color and patterns of the shirt effect the beard. I now understand what other RUclipsrs mean when they talk about shirt color and patterns effcting the beard .

Hey Joe, a video on how you style your hair will be awesome, cause I really like this hairstyle, suits you well too. And of course I absolutely like the beard and glasses. And you are right black shirts are the best.

My beard is very similar to yours in color, maybe a tad bit longer. Dark colors absolutely work better. Great advice.

I have learned so much from your videos so far! Thank you for this content. I am currently growing my strawberry blonde beard out right now, and I now understand what transparency is. I have noticed it with my beard, something a lot of my darker haired brothers don't tend to deal with. You rock!

Great demo Joe! I see what you are saying. I agree with the dark solid colors. My beard is simular to yours in lengh and color, and it shows up my beard much better. Good job.

Wow this is exactly the video I needed. I haven't seen anyone show this on video, the contrasts in the colors of the t-shirts under the beard. Thanks Joe.

Really informative video, Joe, with some great advice. My beard has a similar colouring (am waiting impatiently for my ‘tache and soul patch to go white) and I too wear navy, dark grey/charcoal and certain shades of green. Sky blue used to suit me in my pre-beard/short beard days but, alas, no more. I also have a wonderful - not to mention expensive - mid-grey Scottish crew neck with fair isle pattern. It doesn’t do my beard any favours, but I’m loathe to part with it! Must seek out some burgundy tops and see whether I can pull off this colour. Keep up the good work on IG and YT.

Thanks man for watching and supporting. Yes, dark green may be another color that will work. I think I may also try a dark brown ans see what that does. Thanks again for supporting my channel.!!

Hey Joe, my beard is very similar to yours. And i am a big fan of your videos. Great motivation. I am wondering, no having browsed your whole collection, have you ever done a video on a diet for your beard? We all have geard that your beard grows from the inside out, some advice on your normal eating habits would be interesting. What foods you promote or what you should probably avoid, would be sound, and much appreciated tips. Thanks again for all the great videos.

Dude this gives me such motivation to grow mine out. Mine gets see through as well but I never would have guessed you had the same thing going on. Your beard is epic man! Thanks for the transparency and honesty brother! Pun intended. Lol. I hope my beard can grow like yours. Wish me luck! Also any thoughts on peppermint and castor oil for accelerated growth? Thanks for the video!

I love the pun😂 that’s awesome man. I’m glad that I could inspire you to grow again. Most beards are transparent unless it is just a really super thick beard. The longer it gets the more transparent it will be. Definitely use these tips to make it work. Shirt, color and type of shirt like stripes patterns etc. can make a huge difference in how your beard appears. I usually take selfies and pictures when my beard is at its best so you see that as well. I’m looking forward to hear your progress. Come on grow your beard with me👊🏻

The only man I've seen who didn't have beard transparency that much was : Sam Brinkley.
Longest beard in history haha so wild .

Hey man, please let it grow, I advice you if you can, to try this recipe : Jojoba golden oil (1 OZ/30ML), vitamine E Oil, peppermint essential oil.
You put 10 drops of vitamin E in the entire jojoba oil then you add finally 18 drops of peppermint essential oil.
Your beard will thank you in the future.
Vitamin E protect carrier oils, from oxydation, also very very good for beard health and skin, peppermint essential oil is very good for the growing process.
Actually according to picture of studies the peppermint essential oil is better than minoxidil by far.
The studies showed the comparison of the use between peppermint essential oil, minoxidil, and others oils, and peppermint has win by far in 4 weeks the mice were completely covered from black hair.

Joe, I got rid of an entire collection of great shirts from over the years. A lot of them were just because they were old, but mainly because I cannot wear them with the beard.

I got severe beard envy with this guy who used to go to my gym. He had a belly length beard and he would wear this black shirt with the white Punisher skull on it, and it was so thick it almost completely blocked out the logo.
