2019 was a crazy year really was in the Mentawai's in July and it was pumping went back in early October and it was garbage they'd had a run of SE winds starting in September by October the water was cold and we got 1 decent day at thunders so yeah it's not good all the time.
True! In 2019 we had strong positive IOD (Indian Ocean Diapole)... It causes colder water and howling south winds in tue ments... happens every 5 years or so, usually second semester... Actually its happening right now!

That's interesting because I'm on the mid north coast of nsw and we've have had a run of early NE winds for this time of year as well.
