Antique WW2 Bill Hook Knife

Hi, was given this WW2 bill hook knife by a friend, this knife was found in the back of an old shed which was being taken down, at first I didn't know anything about this knife but when I looked into this history of this knife it was fascinating. Marked on the blade was NASH 1942, when I looked into what knife it was, I was amazed of its history. This prompted me to fix the handle. I will be using this knife daily, making kindling for my log burner.
The result wasn't perfect, but I didn't want to over do it. I love it.

Hi, thank you so much for asking. I’m ok, recovering from an operation I had 6 weeks ago, now waiting for a spinal cord stimulator. Been told by the surgeon there’s nothing more they can do now. I’m hoping to get back in the workshop soon.
