That's why her husband was so damn happy all the time!
I kinda expected her to fall for him all over again while making his last days enjoyable when the guilt set in, rekindling their marriage. Then as she became happy with him again he dies and she kills herself out of guilt, making her vision reality no matter what.

Damn, the way the demon described souls, and how they are nothing more than tallies to mark who won what "hand" in a bet was very clever, and very bleak. I really loved that image he created, of how a soul isn't really the owner's at all.

Mr sticks is probably a reference to the river Styx in Greek mythology which is the name of the river you must cross to enter the underworld.

I don't know how a lot of don't know that here. You would think that people who watch these videos would know a lot more about death and mythology.
It was pretty obvious it was her husband who had been his client, but the part about the 5 lines was definitely an unpleasant suprise.

+Siiriius81 I think that's the whole point of the story, at the beginning we think Cathy is just a grumpy bitch but then we find out Marty is just as bad, if not worse. If we had heard this story from Marty's point of view, it probably would have sounded similar.
Because Cathy bitched and complained about him having a happy boyish smile, being smart, and sipping coffee, as well as his haircut. She's the definition of a bitch and she tried to kill him for the stupidest most petty bullshit and acted like he was a bad guy for it. Cathy deserved 8 lines her husband was being generous af

I thought that the end would have her come to love her husband when she realized he had problems with her just as she him and that she had to work it out. It could still end like it did, but that would make it even more tragic as they both realize they could work things out even though they will still be killed.
