Thanks for joining me for another planner/journal chat! (Just a heads up, covering up my photos with post it notes left a sticky residue so maybe don’t do that. I'll be blurring stuff during editing from now on.) let me know how your system's working out as we head into the middle of the year!
You could place the sticky part on the paper next to the photo and have the non-sticky part overlap the photo, if that makes sense. Kind of like a lift-a-flap kids book :)

I like your layout and the neatness of your spread.
I also really loved the idea of separate journals! I’ve definitely sent myself on a spiral by going down memory lane and it really turned me off from journaling for a long while but that’s a great idea!

Loved this video and all the layout inspo and conversation about what and how to journal. I am listening while set up my journal and memory keeper in my standard TN. I am so excited to finally get back to my beloved TN. I've been journalling in the MD Notebook A5 for the past year or so but I am happy to be back in my TN.

Loved watching this! Your journal looks beautiful! I could really relate to your feelings about journaling and showing your kid's faces. I used to post journaling videos here on youtube of my boyfriend (now husband) and me, and when we had our son, I stopped posting because it just felt a bit too personal to show him. I've recently gotten back into all my hobbies, including photo journaling, and you've inspired me! I also took your tip about separating memory keeping, from the more emotional journaling, and its been so refreshing! Thanks for sharing :)

I agree.... journal is about something you like. If you love to write, write whatever. If you can't, do whatever, even if it's just scrambling. And I LOVE your neat journal and beautiful handwriting 😘
My journal is a mess.... some pages contain 1 or 2 words in huge capital size.

Oh i love your journaling style but also surprised your journals haven’t bulked up. Definitely in the same boat with loving a chunky journal but hate if I can’t write in them comfortably ❤
Lady, I loved this video so much. I’ve been struggling with therapeutic journaling versus keeping an analog journal for that reason. Plus, I don’t want my family to find my rants about stuff-that’s not a legacy to leave behind. Per your inspiration, I will try to keep a positive/neutral journal in my TN and use DayOne for processing the hard stuff.
Also-I would pay money to watch you write in real time. I seriously cannot get the right results with my Kaweco and it pains me!

Thank you so much! I read a few books that helped me heal from PTSD and followed the writing prompts in them. 🥰 I’ve also searched for mental health writing prompts and done gratitude journaling!

Thank you! I use a Canon photo printer and Online Labels glossy sticker paper. I made a tutorial about it recently!

Loved the video! Glad to see you getting back into more decorated spreads. So beautiful and somehow still kinda minimalistic looking. It's so pretty ❤ Do you use any filters for the photos to make them look like a more uniform color palette? I'm about to start printing tiny photos for my journal as well. Love the rounded corners, too, I think I'll do the same. 😊😊
Sometimes I use VSCO's filters (A6, G6, and C3 are a few good ones for my photos! Thank you and happy journaling!
